The company principals have extensive experience in heavy industry, and their love for hydraulics combined with real world know-how and experience provide creative industrial-duty solutions for its customers. My company HMS has partnered with M&M for many creative and successful solutions related to electric arc furnace steelmaking at several large steel producers in the USA including EVRAZ, Gerdau, Tenaris, and more. Here’s an example photo where M&M helped a major steel producer incorporate the blocking valve internally to the cylinder for improved reliability and increased uptime on their electric arc steel-making furnace. All other hydraulic companies the customer had dealt with in the past said this “couldn’t be done” in this application due to space and geometric constraints. M&M got creative and found a way to make it happen!
