Had the products I was looking for and prices are below my average auto parts stores. Compared prices on Eastwood 2k clear and wasn't goign to save anymore, so I made a bulk order.

Extremely disappointed with JB Tools and their customer service. I purchased a nitrogen pressure test kit from JB Tools last week. When we received it at our automotive repair shop, we attempted to use it for the very first time, and immediately discovered that the R134 fitting leaked. The product was defective out of the box and was never successfully usable for its intended purpose. I contacted JB Tools expecting a simple warranty/defective-product resolution. Instead, I was repeatedly told that because we had attempted to use the product, it was considered “used” and therefore was not eligible for a return. I was directed to contact the manufacturer myself. I then contacted FJC, the manufacturer. Their customer service was excellent—they answered immediately, were very helpful, and explained that because the product was purchased through JB Tools, JB Tools needed to contact them directly to resolve the issue. I relayed that information back to JB Tools, but they still refused to take responsibility and essentially told me that because the item had been used, they would not help. That is extremely disappointing. There is a big difference between returning a used product because you changed your mind and receiving a product that is defective the first time you attempt to use it. Expecting a customer to troubleshoot a manufacturer’s warranty issue themselves after purchasing through your company is not what I consider good customer service. We are an automotive repair business and purchase tools and equipment regularly. Things occasionally fail—that’s understandable. What matters is how a company handles the problem when they do. In this case, JB Tools chose to hide behind a return policy rather than stand behind their customer. Ironically, the manufacturer was far more willing to help than the company that actually sold me the product. I would expect much better customer care from an American company specializing in professional automotive tools. Even inexpensive Chinese products from sellers on Amazon often receive better support than what I experienced here. I hope JB Tools reconsiders how they handle defective products. A customer shouldn’t have to fight with the seller over a product that failed the very first time it was used.

I purchased a $700 tent from JB Tools. The tent was defective and broke the first time it was set up. Unfortunately, we were already on vacation and had to build a shelter over the tent so we had somewhere to sleep for the remainder of our vacation. When we returned home and sent the tent back for a refund JBTools only gave us less than half the cost of the tent and are refusing to give us the remainder of our refund. They are stating they are keeping $360 plus for a “restocking” fee. Hopefully you are not the one they send the defective restocked tent to then steals $360plus of your money!! DO NOT BUY FROM JB TOOLS!!! Customer service is terrible. They have been dishonest and do not value their customers!!

Absolutely worst customer service department I’ve ever dealt with. Reps place blame on the customer, and don’t offer any solutions. Not sure how they have such a high rating with all these one star reviews complaining about how they handle customer service issues. I was completely ignored and they closed out my chat when I requested to speak to a supervisor when the conversation went in circles. Will never shop JB Fools again. Edit to add- I appreciate that the company replies to reviews, but still does not offer any solutions to any of these peoples problems with their orders. Instead of using the information to better serve customers in the future, help the current ones.

I purchased a DeWalt electric chainsaw from JB Tools on Amazon recently. I used the tool once to trim three limbs from a tree in my yard. When I went into my garage the next day, I noticed a tremendous amount of bar oil had leaked from the saw onto the box I had placed the tool on. After researching, I learned that there had been numerous people who had a similar experience with these DeWalt chainsaws, some even taking to a DIY fix to address the reservoir leak. Since it was brand new, I didn't want to deal with a constant leaking tool and requested to return it via Amazon. When I checked Amazon's return policy for defective items, it stated defects are covered despite what a seller may list as their "requirements for returns". I had recycled the original DeWalt box already as I had no intention or expectation of needing to return the saw. So I did my best to drain the remaining bar oil from the saw, removed the bar/chain from the saw itself to take it to the UPS store and placed both in a plastic bag to protect against any residual oil that could leak out in transport. JB Tools received the tool, the charger, battery, and owners manual, but proceeded to give a partial refund stating it was "very used" in "awful" condition and returned "in pieces" and denied a full refund. I'm quite amazed a company of this size is unable to handle a defective return and essentially only takes returns on new, unused, in the original packaging items. The rep that has been interacting with me, Julie, was very much exaggerating the condition of the tool I returned in order to justify their stance on a partial refund. I'd give them zero stars and hope that every customer that considers doing business with them understands that should they have a problem with a tool you've purchased from them, you are no longer a valued customer, you are a churned buyer and will be shunned by Julie despite genuinely trying to resolve a problem with an item JB Tools has sold you. I'd suggest you buy local instead.
