  I really wanted to have a positive experience with House of Glass, especially since I made a conscious decision to support a local Elmhurst business. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me disappointed. I initially contacted House of Glass in late August about a custom glass tabletop for our dining room table. Mikayla was very helpful with the quoting process, and although their price was approximately $100 higher than two other companies I contacted outside Elmhurst, I decided to pay the premium to support a local business. I placed my order on September 4th and was told it would take approximately 1 to 1.5 weeks. I was also assured they would contact me as soon as it was ready. Fast forward to September 29th, nearly four weeks after placing the order, and I hadn't heard a single word. No updates, no communication, nothing. I finally reached out myself to ask about the status. Interestingly, they responded that same day and scheduled delivery for October 8th between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Today, that delivery window came and went without anyone showing up or contacting me. Once again, I had to initiate communication. At 12:47 PM, I finally received a call explaining they were running significantly behind. Based on the lack of communication, it certainly felt like my scheduled delivery had been forgotten. I explained that I needed to leave at 1:30 PM and wouldn't return until 3:00 PM, but still wanted the delivery completed today. To my surprise, they arrived at approximately 2:45 PM. During the installation, one of the employees accidentally dropped a heavy glass-handling tool against my dining room wall, leaving a noticeable blue dent in the trim. While accidents happen, this was yet another frustrating part of an already disappointing experience. To be fair, the finished glass tabletop looks great, and Mikayla was helpful during the initial ordering process. However, the lack of proactive communication, missed timelines, late delivery without notice, and damage to my home made this a frustrating experience from start to finish. I specifically chose House of Glass because I wanted to support an Elmhurst business, even at a higher price. Unfortunately, paying more didn't translate into better service. The product is nice, but based on my overall experience, I'm not sure I would use House of Glass again.

  So easy and friendly. Came to the house to evaluate situation. Great service and follow thru. Definitely recommend!!

  I asked a friend to recommend someone to replace the garden window which had moisture in between the panes. His response was immediate, House of Glass in Elmhurst! My mom's house is in Schaumburg. I called them and Drew was out within one day to measure and write an estimate. I received the estimate, paid the deposit and the glass was ordered a day later. Less than two weeks later Brian and Tony arrived with the new glass. They were courteous and extremely careful. Brian reassured mom throughout the process. Tony cleaned the frame of all the old caulk. The two men worked well together to remove and replace the glass and it was completed within a short time. Tony took the time to clean all of the glass on the outside and Brian cleaned up the glass on the inside. It looks great! Brian and Tony worked well together and left my mom feeling comfortable with work well done.

  Matt was great. I ordered a shower enclosure from Home Depot which was supposedly supposed to fit my enclosure. No way did it ever fit? I’m a contractor my measurements were on but it still did not fit. Contacted Matt at House Of Glass. He promptly sent one of his guys out and they took care of it sealed the shower cut the glass to fit doors open and close seals perfect Highly recommend House Of Glass for any. Of your glass needs call and ask for Matt

  Called and asked them to come out to fix seal around door. They said they would call me to schedule. Call never came. I called back a few times and got the run around. I also emailed many times but they just ignored me. Use at your own risk. They will not fix a poorly installed shower door
