Terrible products. They have tec support that has never did an install so they have no idea what they are even talking about, but bc they are reading from a manual on a product they act like they are experts. Our company dropped our contract with them bc of this.

Very fair, caring company. Quick to resolve any issues. I got an Otolift chair lift, sold and installed by Harmar. The equipment is solidly built and easy to operate. I would like to shout out to the Harmar employees I worked with: my salesperson Austin Cameli, who is kind and easy to work with. He will jump through hoops to make sure the equipment you buy is beneficial to you. Chris Jablon, Austin's manager. We ran in to hiccups, and Chris dealt with the problems kindly and decisively. My installer Bryce, who worked tirelessly to make sure the installation was correct and safe for use. Great company.
In that I’ve had NO responses from either the CEO of HARMAR manufacturing or Mobility Plus the installer, feel that my only recourse is to write review on the purchase of a HARMAR Highlander vertical platform lift ( model VP400. After several months of experience troubles with the door latch mechanism, and after several other owners complaints, resulted in a redesign of the unit was installed..After that, the unit encountered a multitude of other technical problems and malfunctions resulting in yard debris interfering with the underneath sensors causing lift to shut down mid-range, leaving one stranded on several occasions. We have had Mobility Plus Technician Cody Hennaut make several sensors adjustments along with other modifications like drilling larger holes in the lower sensor panel, but nothing has seemed to improve the situation. we have come to the conclusion that this unit is not intended for an outside installation.

Harmar Lifts is a wonderful company that stands behind their products. The staff at Harmar replaced broken parts on our lift after a company took advantage of us and sold us a damaged lift. We will always be glad that we purchased a Harmar Lift and will recommend them to everyone.
Since this purchase less than a year ago I have had to have it replaced due to the pin kept falling off that holds the spool. During the time it was coming out repeatably the strap came out while driving and the end of the strap beat against the tail gate scratching it up and Harmar did nothing about fixing my tail gate. Also the buckles have quit working by not wanting to release and they would not replace them. The cover that goes over the motor has blown off going down the road and was lost, the screw stayed on , it just broke loose. They would not replace and a new win cost $75. Nothing but trouble since I bought this.
