I was having electrical issues with my 07 6.7 Cummins (showing low voltage and throttle control light). Bought the complete cable setup minus the alternator wire (which I may get later). I do not have anymore problems. Very happy with my purchase. Cables and connectors are great quality and well made. I highly recommend and please support a small American company.

I needed a custom 4 AWG negative cable and Custom Battery Cables quickly stepped up to the challenge. I needed a super stubby M10 to M8 cable to bridge the connection between my travel trailer's LiFePO4 battery and my battery shunt. I have very limited space to put these two components together in my battery box and this custom cable makes it all work. This bridging cable, as I call it, is very well constructed. Great job Custom Battery Cables!

After reading their offerings, I ordered the cable for my JD G tractor at 8AM and just got notice it was shipped at 12:30 noon the same day - unbelievable!

Ordered cables online for a 88 Jeep. The price was a little higher then competitors but the quality seemed worth it. I received my cables in a timely and prompt manner. The cables I received were of excellent quality with decent enough instructions. Moreover when it turned out some of the cables did not work with my vehicle, they built me new ones and got them to me quickly. Will definitely buy from again.

Ordered cables online. Been trying for 2 days to find out a status by calling (left 2 messages on shop number, 1 on cellphone) no one answers or calls back. Not very good customer service. Even sent email with no reply!

Frequently Asked Questions About Custom Battery Cables LLC

What customization options are available?

You can fully tailor your cables—from wire gauge (AWG), length, insulation type, and stranding, to connector style (ring lugs, clamps, Anderson connectors), terminal type (top-post, side-post, marine), and even color-coding for easy identification. High-quality materials (like copper/SPC or SGT/SGX cable with heat-shrink and PVC/XLPE insulation) ensure durability and performance.

How do I choose the right wire gauge and length?

Selecting the correct wire gauge depends on the current load (e.g., engine starter vs. accessory). Thicker cables (e.g., 2 AWG–4/0 AWG) are used for high-current applications like large engines or battery banks, while thinner gauges (8–6 AWG) suit low-power needs . Length is customized to your setup—measure the exact distance you need and order precisely to avoid excess slack or voltage drop.
