I visited this boutique intending to purchase a bag and specifically stated upfront that I only wanted a brand-new bag from inventory, not the display model. The sales associate was Keilee Tanner and she assured me she would go to the back and prepare a new one for purchase.
She returned with the bag already boxed and wrapped without showing me the item beforehand. Before completing payment, I asked to inspect it. When opened, I noticed scratches on the hardware and the condition looked similar to the display bag I had just seen.
I asked whether another new bag was available and was then told there were no more and this was the last one. I asked to compare it to the display model, but after leaving for several minutes, Keilee returned and said she did not feel comfortable showing it to me, which I found confusing since it had already been on display.
At that point, I no longer felt comfortable making such an expensive purchase and decided to leave. I completely understand if only a display item is available, but I expect transparency and accountability and the opportunity to inspect the actual item before it is packaged especially at a luxury boutique. Will never purchase from the store !

I received a beautiful satin bag as a Christmas gift a few years ago, purchased from the International Plaza and Bay Street location. Unfortunately, early last year I noticed multiple pulls forming in the satin—despite the fact that this is not an everyday bag and has been used very sparingly.
I brought it back to the store, and while they were able to locate the purchase, the manager told me the only option was to send it out for repair at my expense. That response was extremely disappointing. When you invest in a high-end luxury item, you expect not only quality, but also a brand that stands behind its products.
What made the experience worse was dealing with customer service. The process was frustrating and inefficient—I was asked to provide multiple photos, including a picture of the serial number, which is located inside the inner zipper in a very difficult-to-access spot. It felt unnecessarily complicated and unhelpful.
At this price point, both product durability and customer service should be exceptional. Unfortunately, neither met expectations here. This experience has made me reconsider future purchases, and I would think twice before choosing Saint Laurent again.

Always an absolute delight and treat to shop here. Different staff this time, same great experience. It’s nice they recognize brand loyalty and don’t snub you for not spending as much as other. Shout out the ladies working Saturday afternoon, both so fun. We also really loved working with Anthony.
Noel was fantastic. He was very friendly, patient, and really went out of his way to help me at Saint Laurent. I truly appreciated his great customer service.
Stephanie was a great sales associate! She was eager to help find my dream bag. Great customer service!
