  Disappointed by Tiffany & Co.’s approach to standing behind its craftsmanship I have been a Tiffany customer for years, and this experience was extremely disappointing. I have a Tiffany bracelet that I received as a gift to commemorate the birth of my son. It has significant sentimental value to me and was purchased with the expectation that a Tiffany piece would be something I could treasure and eventually consider an heirloom. After years of normal wear, the heart tag unexpectedly came off for the first time. I brought it to the Tiffany & Co. boutique at Town Center at Boca Raton expecting the piece to be evaluated and repaired. Instead, I was told that I would have to pay an $80 repair fee. I also spoke with the store manager, who maintained that the fee would apply and suggested that I contact Tiffany corporate if I wanted to pursue the matter further. What concerns me most is not the $80 itself. It is the principle behind the policy. Tiffany has built its reputation around craftsmanship, quality, and jewelry that is meant to last and become heirloom pieces. When a component comes off after years of normal wear, I would expect the company to at least consider standing behind the craftsmanship rather than immediately charging the customer for the repair. The experience was especially disappointing because of the sentimental significance of this particular bracelet. I wasn’t asking for special treatment because of its monetary value—I was asking Tiffany to stand behind a piece that was purchased with the expectation of lasting for generations. I have contacted Tiffany’s corporate office in hopes that they will reconsider the repair fee and provide a goodwill resolution. I sincerely hope headquarters takes a different approach than the Boca Raton store and recognizes that standing behind your craftsmanship is part of what makes a luxury brand worthy of becoming an heirloom. I hope Tiffany will ultimately do the right thing and repair this bracelet at no cost. Please note: other luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton or Chanel performs repairs for free. That’s the difference of spending extra for luxurious and superior craftsmanship is the customer service that is above and beyond regular standard brands. Without it, it’s just… BASIC. Congratulations for making it down to BASIC

  I had a great experience at Tiffany & Co. in Boca Raton. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and never made me feel pressured while I was shopping. They took the time to answer all of my questions and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be coming back for future purchases.
