This library open to the public has awesome free genealogical resources for finding and searching historical records, such as ancestry, fold3, historical newspapers and many more. They have thousands of books (not for checkout) and volunteers that will try to help answer any questions you have and get you started on the right direction. Also quite a few free classes.
