Everyone at this hotel was so friendly and welcoming! The rooms were clean, and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely fabulous. Bob, our waiter, was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met!
That said, the hotel itself wasn’t quite my style. It is very outdated and definitely has a strong 1970's feel. If you enjoy that vintage, old-school atmosphere, you may really love it! Overall, the staff, clean rooms, and fantastic breakfast were definite highlights.
First I have to say after walking in after checking in...I found the hotel lacks proper and basic security features.... Fire door jammed open because it's buckled on the floor.... Room door does not have automatic closures on it... You have to close it manually and then you have to slam it two or three times for it to latch..... When walking in or out of the room there's a hump in the hall where you constantly trip on under the carpet under the carpet... restaurant closed due to staffing....and morning breakfast service not much better....took orders ...after about. 5 too 10 min. Food came out..but no utensils....we asked for utensils ....and more then 5 min later after asking another person working....we finally got our utensils and napkins.....went out for the day..when returning the parking lot was half blocked off....big party in parking lot ...we asked how long it was going to last....front desk said most of the nite. ..I just hope the next few days get better....

Well lit parking area. Clean grounds. Freshly painted interior & exterior. Elevators. Entrances conveniently located around the premises. Pleasant staff. Ample buffet breakfast with abundant choices. Hallways spotless and fresh-smelling. Rooms small but adequate. The bathroom was a bit cramped but adequate for one person at a time to get ready, makeup, etc. Outdoor pool was very private and quiet. Self serve fancy coffee maker for your choice of lattes, mochas, espresso regular and decaf combinations was always available. Hot water dispenser for tea, cold water too. This is an upper end budget hotel. A good value for the price. Rooms were all quiet. Porter help upon request. Tips were appreciated. This staff went out of their way to provide a pleasant stay. I appreciate that staff was not on their cell phones during business hours. Well located off the highway with restaurants and groceries close by.
I was there for a family reunion. They were accommodating.

Not quite what we expected for our stay. We waited before checking out to try the made-to-order breakfast, but instead there was a typical buffet service (on a Sunday of all days). Wouldn't have stayed here had that been advertised properly.
There was a group of teenage kids running around when we checked in after 9pm. They were hanging out in the gym after 10pm when I wanted to get a workout in before bed, and it sounded like the staff was dealing with them but it wasn't working. And the one strength training machine in the gym was out of service.
One positive was they were great with our small dog and have a very reasonable pet fee.
It was a passable stay, but we expected an above-average experience for the higher price, which this was not.
