I'm disappointed. The site shows a very nice pool and hot tub. When we checked in we were told the pool area is closed. I asked if it was just today? I was told it's not been useable since January. I was really hoping to use that pool with my daughter a few days. Had I known there was NO Pool, I would have gone to another hotel...with a pool. I asked for some refund since that amenity wasn't offered? The manager wasn't in to speak to so I asked to leave a message. I did not get a call from anyone in the following two days of a five night stay.
The grounds are not being kept up, the drive through archway has broken stone/bricks that need repair. Landscaping needs to be done better. Corporate BW seriously needs to take away the "Plus" from this Best Western. It is not a PLUS any longer. The front desk help needs to do better with customer service, as well. They should not make guests feel like we are interrupting their day.
The pool needs fixing ASAP.
DONT COME HERE TO SWIM.
There is a tiny line stating that the pool is closed on the BW website BUT ONLY AFTER 2LARGE SPOTS STATING IT HAS A POOL .. AND THE POOL ICON BY THE AMENITIES of the hotel .
They were rude and dismissive.
Side note: they don’t allow cats.
VERY FRAUDULENT! We booked this hotel on a Wednesday for a Saturday baseball tournament weekend. Multiple team families also stayed here and informed us before arrival that the pool had been closed since the beginning of the year. Like many families, we specifically chose this hotel because of the pool.
Not a single family was notified before check-in, and the hotel refused to cancel reservations, claiming the closure was clearly disclosed on their website. That was simply not true. The hotel heavily markets its large pool, and nowhere during the booking process was the closure disclosed. The only mention was buried in small print on a separate amenities page unrelated to booking. Even my reservation confirmation email listed the hotel as having a pool.
When I called the hotel, staff were rude and told me to contact corporate. Corporate then said they could do nothing because each hotel operates independently and makes its own cancellation decisions, directing me right back to the hotel.
Beyond the false advertising, many families experienced additional issues, including non-functioning air conditioning during 85-degree weather, filthy rooms, stained sheets, and even a half-eaten Uncrustable left on a bedside table.
I travel extensively for work and stay in hotels multiple times per week. This is one of the most out-of-touch and misleading hotel experiences I have ever encountered.
Disrespect people. Lady at the desk was rude and talked bad behind peoples backs. And we found a half aten sandwich in one of the rooms from our baseball team. also found cockroaches in the rooms and the headboards had nail marks and scratches all over. Also didnt refill any toilet papers and over paid price for no pool and horrible service. place was very unclean. Dont recommend going here.

Avoid booking this hotel. The pool has been out of order since December 2025, yet the hotel continues to advertise it as a major feature. My family chose this location specifically for the pool for a graduation trip with small children. We were only notified three days before arrival that it was closed—something the hotel has known for months.
Their own website still promotes the pool as if it were fully functional. It even states: “For family friendly fun, take advantage of our three pools, including a kiddie pool with alligator slide, and hot tub.” Despite this, the pool has been down for months. You only discover a small note about the closure if you click deep into the “View Hotel Details” section, while pool photos are still prominently displayed. This is misleading and deceptive.
Based on our experience and the many similar reviews, the lack of transparency and unprofessional staff make this hotel one to skip
