  We were delightfully surprised by our stay at the Best Western New Richmond. The rates were so reasonable. The facility was spotless, and very comfortable, and what helped make the experience exceptional was the thoughtful staff. We arrived a little later than expected, and Izzy at the front desk kindly stayed late for us and made us feel completely welcomed, thank you again. She was so friendly and accommodating, a total gem! I had called ahead because I have chemical sensitivities, and the staff went above and beyond to help make the room comfortable for me by confirming there were no scented plug-ins and thoughtfully preparing the room beforehand. The entire facility felt very clean and well cared for, and our stay ended up being absolutely perfect for our needs. We truly can’t thank everyone enough for their kindness and attention to detail. Since we have family in the area, we will absolutely be staying here again in the future. Highly recommend. I also see post trip that they have a salt water pool! I usually avoid pools due to chlorine smells, so will totally swim next time. A surprising gem of a place to stay for those with chemical sensitivities.
