I generally do not like hotels as they gross me out. I was very nervous staying at the BW in Madison, but wow - what a nice hotel, especially for the price. I stayed in a king room and it was a good size. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, and the service. You can’t beat the location either. I would stay here again without question.

There are just so many positives with this hotel. The hotel is the cleanest hotel I've ever been in and I consider myself picky. I couldn't believe it and literally searched for dirt because it just couldn't be real. My Co worker had the same experience. The shower was really nice!! Tastefull decor!! Very friendly staff at the front. Free shuttle was an added bonus. Do not get me started on the restaurant in the hotel "the post" I believe. I didn't have the dinner but the breakfast was so freaking delicious I made sure to wake in time and I'm not an early bird. Also the breakfast hours are reasonable. The omelets are amazing. Especially the one with the feta. Honestly if I had to give a con I would say the mattress was good not great but that's a preference thing. I would definitely book here again.
We arrived on Saturday August 8, 2026 and asked if our room was ready. They said yes, but since we were a bit early, there would be a $50 early check in fee. We found this absolutely ridiculous because we didn't ask for early check in, and the room was already ready. We ended up just storing our bags with valet to avoid the fee, but I heard another lady pay the fee to get their room. Such a scammy business practice. I will not be back until you treat your guests better.

This is a pretty nice hotel, especially for a Best Western. I had a room with 2 queen beds. Bathroom was a little small but worked for just one person. Beds were comfy. AC unit worked great. Big windows with good black-out curtains.
Staff was always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. One downside is that their fitness center isn't open 24 hours (even though it says it is on their website) and they don't actually have free weights (like it says on their website). The fitness center does have one cable tower, some tube bands and medicine balls (which might be what they think are free weights haha), and also a rower (and treadmills of course). The fitness center is two separate rooms, so they do have space for a dumbbell rack, so they should get one haha
Very comfortable hotel…the suite we stayed in was excellent EXCEPT what the heck is up with the TV!? One of the worst hotel TV I’ve ever experienced…hard to actually chose channels and very poorly designed,The service is from Spectrum and it’s terrible…there is a Guide but good luck being able to click on a channel you want to see because it doesn’t work..and the actual selection is limited just local stations and things like TBS and TNT…and when you try to adjust the volume you get some annoying announcement instead of just going up or down like normal TV why is there annoying commentary by simply adjusting the volume!?!
For an upscale hotel they need a better TV provider…it’s absolutely awful
