  Very dissatisfied with the rooms we booked this hotel months in advance about 3 weeks ago we got a notification saying the ac was broken we figured it would of been fixed by the time we got here upon arrival we asked if the ac was fixed we were informed it wasn't and asked for a refund the said they couldn't issue a refund and was very rude about it over all horrible stay and over priced for the quality of service and room quality

  Wow.. in all my life ive never had such a negative interaction with a so called "service" business. 1st they botched my reservation, next came the incrededibly rude and smug attitude of the "GM" who told me i was screwed because they had no more rooms then hung up on me. then they have the nerve to tell me an hour later that oh yeah they found the reservation and to come on back (yeah right). And now to top it all off, i'm currently still waiting for my refund and its been over a week now. Discourteous, unprofessional, rude, (and throw in whatever other adjective you would like)

  Please do not stay here until they fix their ac system for the guest room. My husband and son stayed here and people had to leave their doors open to be able to get some fresh air from the hallways, that works but not for any rooms. They do a poor attempt of disclosing it in their website.They only have a little section on the details that’s it “not working” but unless you actually read through it all you won’t see it. You will have a horrible time there in the summer !

  (1) This property's staff did not advise me before my arrival that this property did not have AC in the guest rooms. That was too late for me to find another hotel room within the US government's required "per diem" rate. My room was 85 degrees when I initially entered around 4pm. Even with a box fan and opening the sliding glass door, the room remained above 80 degrees F until after well after sundown. (2) The hotel's covered entrance walkway was coated with bird droppings that guests must walk through when entering an leaving. Install spike strips overhead so birds cannot perch there and wash away the droppings daily. (3) My room's phone line was dead. Despite my 2 requests, no one checked or fixed it. (4) There was a 2" rip/piece of carpet missing in my room. That's just one of several examples for this rundown and poorly maintained older property. (5) The seat of the desk chair in my room was JAMMED in an extreme up-angle from back to front which made it VERY uncomfortable to try working at the desk during this business trip. The seat tilt control lever did not work. I worked on it for an hour with significant force to get it unjammed so I could sit/work at my room's desk. (6) My room's sliding glass door's latch/lock was difficult/tricky to lock. My room and many others are easily accessible from the kitchen/dining area's roof so locking the sliding glass door (despite the room heat) was essential. (7) My room's bathroom was the MOST cramped bathroom that I have ever seen. The door could not be opened or closed by someone inside unless they stood in the tub or squeezed between the toilet and the counter. The door barely swings past the toilet. (8) The morning breakfast buffet was excellent and amongst the best I have experienced. Congrats to the kitchen staff for a great job. I will not stay at this location again and will tell others to avoid it.

  Where do I start - It's a shame this hotel is on the land it is, because the view is great. Unfortunately, that's about where it stops. I booked this room because I saw pictures of a beautiful jetted tub, a fireplace and a fantastic view. It looked like a great room for a weekend getaway on our 10 year anniversary. When we arrived, the woman at the front desk explained that the air conditioning had been broken for 3 weeks, but they could give us a fan. Its July, so that's kind of annoying, and 3 weeks feels like a long time for something to be out, but whatever. Then she explains that the Jacuzzi tub and the fireplace is broken. So now we have no air conditioning, no fireplace and no Jacuzzi tub. Im annoyed at this point, but fine, we go to the room anyway. That's where it goes from bad to worse. The carpet is a Petri dish of bacteria with stains that are so prevalent that its difficult to tell what's actually a pattern and whats a stain. And it seriously wouldn't have mattered if the Jacuzzi was broken or not, because the bathtub was disgusting and certainly not the one I saw in the picture a few months back. At this point I'm crying, we decide to go to the front desk, explain how dirty the room is, and see if there's a different room. There's not, they're all sold out. Fine, at least they have a cocktail lounge, so I ask the lady where it is. Oh, it's been closed for a long time. We decide to just go get dinner across the street, and the server asks if I'm alright because he can clearly see I'm crying. I explained what happened and he said "ohhhh that hotel is terrible. The AC has actually been broken for 3 months, but they tell everyone 3 weeks so it seems more reasonable that it's still broken." It turns out what they really do is turn the breakers off for anything that uses a lot of electricity so they save money. When we get back to the room, we were greeted with a toilet that was overflowing with bubbles, and the bathtub is nearly full of bubbles. That's mopped up, but we certainly didn't step on the floor with our bare feet after, and I certainly wouldn't be using the shower. We're exhausted, so we call it a night. The next morning, my husband finds someone elses reading glasses on the nightstand, meaning nothing had been wiped down. I have read other reviews however that key cards work for other rooms, so I'm wondering if someone else was in our room? Anyway, I would run. Run far, far away from this hotel.
