  First impressions are everything (imo) and this establishment / professionals hit every marque. From initial greeting, to swift check in. Additionally showed that should my plans change, they were willing to be further accommodating to my furry family member. (Biggest stars for that). Lastly, CLEAN. The cleanliness HIT me when I walked into the lobby. The cherry on top is the indoor pool? Because no one has time to bake in this absurd temperatures / humidity. (And this is only 5 minutes of me checking in) thank you!!

  Clean comfortable rooms at a decent price with friendly helpful staff. Awesome continental breakfast , I really enjoyed the cinnamon flaxseed waffles and the option of strawberry kiwi water. Enjoyed that coffee and cappuccino options were available at all times and that the pool was the perfect temperature and extremely clean. Well worth the stay. Only complaint was a noisy neighbor watching tv literally all night but I just turned on the AC fan to drown that out.

  I am writing this review to bring a significant housekeeping issue to the attention of the management team at the Best Western Plus in Roanoke. During my recent stay, I was highly disappointed to find hair and dirty linens in my room upon arrival. Furthermore, there was a clear inconsistency in room preparation, as one bed was made with a mattress pad while the other bed completely lacked one. Finding unlaundered linens and hair directly impacts guest comfort, hygiene, and overall trust in the property. I am sharing this feedback publicly in the hope that management will take immediate action to better train their housekeeping team, implement stricter room inspection protocols, and resolve these quality control oversights.I value the Best Western brand and hope to see these basic service standards corrected for future travelers.

  The location is convenient, right off the interstate with food within walking distance. Rooms are clean and updated as much as you would expect for the price. Front desk leaves a bit to be desired, but customer service folks generally get abused so I won't judge too much. Pool is broken because they didn't add chemicals (so not really broken as much as just laziness,). Overall, not a bad spot if you need a layover on a road trip so long as you can snag a room for under $100.

  1st off I stayed here for 4 nights, while my Mother was in hospital after a heart attack. I made reservation 1 of those nights online. I then proceed to make another reservation for a 5th night and got my confirmation number only to receive a phone call that it had been cancelled because I lived within 50 miles of hotel. I live in Ferrum Va. My Mother is in Cardiac ICU. I sure didnt want to drive 48 miles home to be back at hospital at 7 next morning. I went to the hotel and she refused to rent me a room for the night. This would have been my 5th night there because I lived within 50 miles of Roanoke. I am not happy. The other staff I encountered the last 4 nights were awesome. I just dont understand. I went to the Hampton across the street. Explained what happen to me. They could not believe it. Needless to say, I'll be coming back to the Hampton. The girl at Best Western said it was a company policy to not rent to anyone within 50 mile radius of Roanoke. That is the most insane thing I've ever heard. So I recommend anybody that has a loved one in the hospital to go elsewhere. In response to your reply. I told the girl my situation. She had no concern with my situation. She just said, if she approves my stay she could get in trouble with her boss. She had no empathy. I will not be returning to this hotel. Like I said, this would have been our 5th stay with the hotel. My Mother is having surgery today. I will be staying elsewhere again tonight.
