Great Property and Location, but Front Desk Service Needs Serious Improvement
I recently stayed at this property traveling on business and found that it has a lot going for it physically. The location is fantastic—incredibly convenient, centrally located, and perfect if you are attending an event nearby or need quick access to the local area or event center.
The hotel itself is excellent. The rooms are incredibly spacious, giving you plenty of layout space to unpack and relax without feeling cramped. I was also thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of both the room and the common areas; the housekeeping team is clearly doing a phenomenal job maintaining the property.
Unfortunately, the guest service completely missed the mark during my stay. There seems to be an overall lack of available guest agents at the front desk on a daily basis, making it difficult to get assistance when you need it.
Worse, when you do find someone, the service quality is highly unprofessional. I made a simple, routine front-desk request for extra hangers for the closet and was treated poorly by young, inexperienced teenagers named Alex and Mike. Instead of a helpful, courteous response, the interaction combative and was handled with a dismissive attitude that has no place in hospitality.
It is a beautiful, clean hotel in a prime location, but management seriously needs to invest in proper training, mature people, professionalism, and better staffing for their front desk team.
