A fine enough hotel but, unless you’re visiting from overseas and wanting to see the rodeo and other kitschy quasi-Americana “tourist traps” inside Bryce Canyon City, I’d avoid it and stay in Tropic instead. The entire town (Bryce Canyon City) seems to be owned by a single corporation and all attractions are, by and far, run by the same company. It’s a very corporate and fake experience overall but, again, the hotel is nice and breakfast is really good. That said, if we had to do everything all over again, we’d descend a little in elevation to Tropic, get a bit more of a small town feel and more authentic experience, and then just drive a few minutes more to the park.
If you are wanting that “kitschy” experience and doing the rodeo next door, this is a perfect spot. The hotel is fairly modern, the outside pool and jacuzzi are nice, the staff are all very friendly, and, again, the onsite breakfast is top notch for a hotel like this.
