  Outstanding customer service, clean, spacious and quiet rooms and good breakfast. Tip: 3 minutes away from the Luling Lavanda Fields (worth stopping there) and 15 minutes away from Sons River Ranch for kayaking and tubing.

  I had a great time at Best Western San Marcos. My husband and I were visiting for the first time to go tubing on the river and we stayed here for 2 nights. Room was clean and was a great value for the low price. Front desk attendants were extremely nice and allowed us to check in early while also giving us great recommendations. Hotel is in a superb location with quick access to downtown. Highly recommend for a short and quick stay. I would stay again.

  After being in the room only a couple hours I found a ROACH in my pants… and there was a tick on the bed. If you care about your well being don’t come here.

  Very quiet and clean the beds are very comfortable and great size pillows . Also the breakfast potatoes are very good . Great rooms for the price .
