  It was clean enough but not spotless - the shower and bed were clean so that was most important. Quiet. A little dingy and musty as heck. Bed wasn’t comfy, didn’t sleep well.

  Great hotel at a great price! C at the front desk was extremely accommodating when our fishing trip was canceled last minute. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff we interacted with were friendly. Definitely going to stay here in the future.

  Do not stay here! Our rooms were roach infested! Came back from dinner to find roaches of all sizes all over the counter and just crawling around on the floor. Started looking around more and realized that there were large dead roaches and so many alive little tiny roaches everywhere behind the bed and under the furniture and literally just crawling around everywhere. Asked to be changed to another room. We packed up and walked into the new room directly below the old room, switched on the light and a roach was just crawling across the floor. Shut the door and checked out. There was no way we could sleep there.

  UPDATE: Hi “DJ”, thanks for providing the exact same cookie cutter response that you provide every single bad review that gets left for your hotel. News flash: if you actually cared about customer service, you’d reach out and provide personalized support when people have poor experiences. No, I’m not going to call the number you provided. YOU can reach out to ME since you have my name on this review and the exact dates that I stayed here. You obviously don’t care about the people that stay at this hotel, and I can only hope that more people look at this review and decide to stay elsewhere. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve never stayed at a hotel as gross and disappointing as this one, and unfortunately for me, I am stuck here tonight and tomorrow night. I feel like I’ve lost a lot of faith in the Best Western brand after this stay. One thing I feel like I’ve gained, are the many friends that are the bugs that currently reside in this room with me. I’ll admit, I’m not a fan of them. They are disgusting. They don’t appear to be bed bugs, but rather small roaches of some sort. They are on the bed. They are on the floor. They are in the shower. They are in the drawers. When you think they are gone, alas, they are not. We also don’t have a flushing toilet, which my husband was able to fix. Our shower door was off the track upon arrival, which my husband also fixed. What the heck is going on here? I’d actually really like a manager to reach out to me to discuss. We asked to move to another room, to which we were advised there’s only one other room. Okay? Does it not have bugs? I’ll take it. Instead, at 10PM they said they would come look at the bugs. Spoiler alert: nobody ever came to look at the bugs. They were too busy dealing with a police situation, which highlights another observation. I’m not sure if we are here on an off weekend, or if this is the new norm for Port A, but there are many other people staying at the hotel that are not respectful of others. Is this the fault of the hotel? No. Should this be included as a warning to those that don’t want their room to smell like weed and have constant yelling and noise outside while trying to go to sleep? Yes it should be. Overall, I highly don’t recommend. I sure would like a partial refund but based on the customer service we received tonight, I can’t imagine that’ll happen. We simply won’t stay here ever again and will be more careful when booking a Best Western in the future. They are not all made equal.
