This is an excellent choice for a hotel in Houston, ESPECIALLY if you have a plane to catch at Hobby - it's only about 15 minutes away.
We arrived on Sunday, 5/24, the day before Memorial Day. It was kind of rowdy that night, people outside and swimming until around 2 or 3 am but it was because of the holiday. The next night was very quiet.
The room was clean, everything worked great - TV, fridge, toilet, shower...no complaints at all. Plus plenty of parking and good access for a low-clearance car.
The best part, however, was that I booked the room back in Jan or early Feb, and I was just joking but in the "special requests" section of the booking I said "Please put a picture of an heirloom tomato by my bed. Tomatoes help me sleep."
I had totally forgotten about that - when I checked in she asked me "So you like heirloom tomatoes?" and I was shocked. I responded "HOW DO YOU KNOW? WHERE CAN I FIND SOME?" Then I remembered - "Ohhhhh.". We both had a good laugh about it.
When I entered the room, there wasn't just one, but 5 pictures of heirloom tomatoes throughout the room. I meant it as a joke, but somehow it mattered a lot. It felt like they had customized our stay. They even left personalized notes on two of the pictures (see pics & video).
I have to come back to Houston in late July and am very much considering staying here again. Also, I DO really love heirloom tomatoes and that was a reminder for me. Found some at a Sprout's in Pearland just a few minutes away.
