  Stay: 6/26/2026 - 6/28/2026 My stay here was less than desirable. The day of travel, I called the hotel and asked the front desk if it would be possible to have a top floor room and also to let them know I would be traveling with my cat. The lady I spoke with assured me that I would get a top floor and also would note about having a pet. When I arrived (around 7pm) the front desk lady was very rude and sarcastic to myself along with a lady wanting to book a room but needed direction on what to do. She made it seem like we were inconveniencing her for doing her job. I believe her name was Lavonia. My friend also heard her be very rude to a little kid wanting to purchase something from the pantry. She informed me that I would not be getting a top floor unless I wanted to pay extra and did not clearly explain the pet fee/charging. When I went to charge my card and was confused about the fees, she said sarcastically, "I just explained that to you." Our initial hotel room (219) was not clean. I stepped on a black needle embedded in the carpet, there was clear signs of mold in the shower and the carpet below the A/C unit and surrounding was soaked because the unit was leaking. Also one of our room keys was not activated. When I went down to ask about our room key and to ask if they had an onsite maintenance for the A/C, thankfully the same woman offered us a room change (229). I didn't have any other interactions with the initial lady and all other staff were very nice and helpful.

  The lobby, halls, and rooms were very clean. Front desk staff and breakfast staff were very friendly. Pool was a little cloudy and the breakfast lady was trying to keep up with cooking and stocking as she was the only breakfast staff. It would make sense during the week, but on the weekends they really need two people. She was so kind and pleasant even though guests were getting frustrated with food and drinks running out. She stayed calm and smiled the whole time. There is also no housekeeping on the weekends. We made a couple trips to the front desk for pool towels and linens. Front dest staff was pleasant and very accommodating.

  The front desk lady that works at night time, she made me feel comfortable. Now the one star is because I still haven't received my refund for the incident fee. Dont say its refundable when its not.

  I cant express how absolutely amazing our stay here was!!! The ladies at the front desk were amazing, housekeeping was amazing, breakfast was good, pool was clean. The location is convenient to great food and stores. All and all a wonderful experience. Will absolutely be staying here again if we are ever in the area!

  I don’t typically leave negative reviews, but there were several issues during our stay that made the experience disappointing. When we requested an extra towel, we were told all towels were in the dryer and none were available. Our room slept four people but only had three towels. While I understand rooms aren’t always stocked with extras, I was surprised that even one additional towel couldn’t be provided. The room also had a noticeable damp, muggy odor. Since the window didn’t open, there wasn’t much we could do about it. The bed frame was also quite squeaky and creaked whenever someone moved. On a positive note, the mattress and bedding were comfortable. We also found a large bug in the bathroom, and one of the outlet covers was loose. The biggest frustration involved the laundry facilities. After purchasing detergent from the front desk, I thought I was good to go. However, when I arrived at the laundry room, only one washer was operational and none of the dryers were working. There were no signs indicating the machines were out of service. When I returned to the front desk, staff confirmed the dryers were unavailable and offered to dry my clothes in the staff laundry room. I appreciated the workaround, but it would have been helpful to know this before purchasing detergent or making the trip to the laundry room. I wasn’t expecting luxury accommodations, but I did expect the basic amenities and facilities to be available and in working order. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet those expectations.
