I just checked out today. Such an excellent hotel in a nice, upscale neighborhood. I have stayed 3 times now so trust me I know. The hotel and rooms are so pretty, clean and spacious for the price. If you’re a member the rooms are cheaper too.
And the staff is kind, helpful and professional. Overnight staff worker was so nice too. Yolanda works mornings and is the best too! So so professional & friendly.
I LOVE the hot breakfast selection most of ALL. Omg it is soooo amazing too. I love breakfast so maybe I’m biased. I have to share how they offer so many options from eggs, sausage, biscuits, breakfast potatoes, toast, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt parfait, cereal, muffins, juices, and huge waffle machine you can use. They also offer toppings for a lot of items too. They serve hot coffee all day best of all lol.
Great hotel for kids IMO too.
The people who seem to stay in the hotel seem classy and respectful overall so I like that too. I never hear noisy guests etc .
And if you really like a room you can call and see if it’s available after you book.
. I also love how close the hotel is to restaurants and shopping areas. It’s walking distance to Waffle House, Whatabyrger, Time Out Tavern, Ginger’s Sushi. And it’s a short uber or drive to HEB grocery store and Walmart. I went to all those places constantly and walked to some.
Yes you can hear the highway from your room, but it’s muffled IMO. I live in NYC so to me it was quiet enough. Especially with AC on you can hardly hear anything.
The AC and heat works great too.
And I love the bathroom lighting haha.
I needed to do my makeup and it had good lighting for makeup too.
The staff is very helpful and fast to respond. I remember one time a couple was arguing loudly and I alerted staff and they immediately took care of it without making a scene. Very professional.
It’s a super quiet hotel and they make sure to keep it that way.
I also love firm cottony beds because of my sciatica. So if you like extra firm pillow top beds, this place is it. Unlike La Quinta Inn, it’s not lumpy cotton either.
The dining area is spacious and always clean too so I appreciate that.
They do have a pool, hot tub and gazebo but I never got to use those as it was rainy when I was there.
