  We were really disappointed with our visit to LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Grapevine Mills. The overall condition of the attraction felt neglected and poorly maintained. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. Several areas looked dirty and like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while, which isn’t what you’d expect from a place designed for young children. On top of that, multiple rides weren’t working, interactive buttons throughout the exhibits were broken, and many of the decorative lights were either flickering or completely out. This made several areas feel unusually dark. Instead of being fun and exciting, some sections were actually a little scary for younger kids because of how dim they were. For the price of admission, we expected everything to be operational and well maintained. Unfortunately, too many things were broken, and it really took away from the experience. We won’t be returning.

  Why am I paying over $140 for two kids to play with legos?! This place literally only had a few stations to play with Legos. The quest adventure was down, water park down, and the only cool virtual reality ride cost extra. Paid $90 for three adults to just stand and watch our kids play with Legos. We could have bought Legos for that amount and played everyday at home. Over crowded, no control over the kids playing in the ridiculously small play ground. NOT WORTH IT!

  Don't waste your money. From the moment you walk in its falling apart. Probably a good thing to close school camps because of the size of this place. The rides kept closing due to technical issues they would say. We waited 40 minutes for a hotdogs that was as hard as a rock. The Cafe was out of everything. Poorly managed. Half of the info machines don't work anymore and half the display doesn't work anymore do dark. Playground I'd super tiny for a large school crowd plus normal traffic. Winter go again ever. Seen it once and we were not in a awe about it.

  My son and I visited the Legoland Discovery Center in Grapevine, TX over the weekend and were really disappointed by the experience. When we showed our tickets at the door I asked if lockers were available, as we had our luggage with us for flying out of town later in the day. I was told there were lockers, but when entering the space was later told that they no longer worked. The Kingdom Quest ride broke while we were riding. Pirate Beach was closed while we were there, as was the Ninjago activity. The Miniland area with the large Lego display was nearly all in the dark. I let a staff member know that the lights were off, but never saw them turned back on while we were there. Most of the cars in police chase area were not working, which resulted in a long line. I will not return and would not recommend the Discovery Center to anyone.

  We recently purchased tickets to visit your location to celebrate the birthday of a close friend who absolutely loves Legos. In total, we bought four adult tickets online, including the Aquarium Package, and traveled an hour and a half to experience it. Upon arrival, the cashier checked our tickets with no issues and confirmed that it was just the four of us. However, after moving past the first room, we were stopped by a staff member in the photo area who asked where our child was. When we explained that we didn't have a child with us and it was just us adults, she informed us that adults are not allowed to visit without a child aged 15 or younger. We were incredibly disappointed. The online checkout system allowed us to purchase four adult tickets without any warning or notification stating that a child was required for entry. As Lego fans—and noting that the boxes themselves say "Ages 6 to 99+"—we were shocked to be turned away. We requested an immediate refund and waited 10 to 15 minutes for a manager to process it on the spot. While we were waiting, we noticed another adult couple being turned away for the exact same reason. While the manager did issue a full refund and we understand that child safety is the priority behind this policy, the execution on the website could be greatly improved. It seemed like your staff deals with this issue multiple times a day. To help future guests plan accordingly and save your team from having to turn disappointed paying customers away, please consider adding a mandatory, noticeable prompt or restriction on your online ticketing platform. Preventing the purchase of standalone adult tickets—or requiring a clear acknowledgment of the child policy before checkout—would solve this issue for everyone.
