  Just thought I would share how disappointed/upset I am in this hotel. I WILL NEVER send business here again or ever stay here. I am a local but live right past lady bird and when there is a freeze or something bad related to weather and we lose power we would get rooms here. Yesterday everyone around me was being evacuated because I live on the Perdenales and the river was rising VERY high. We had to move our horses to safety and the river took a lot of our horse pens. The water kept getting closer and closer to our home. I had my two kids with me, my niece, and my 3 little dogs. I was terrified and wanted to leave immediately. People were being evacuated by helicopters around us. When I called for a room the lady was very nice but wanted to charge a higher fee for bringing my dogs. She said she would ask the owner if he would waive the fee due to my circumstances. She asked me to call back and see what he says. I did. The owner said I still had to pay the fee for the dogs. That wasn’t what upset me. What upset me was they needed a card on file to reserve the room. I Was ok with that too. BUT, the police ended up closing the road to leave my house so I was stuck with my kids and animals. I was going to leave my card on file in case the roads opened and we could get out. All I asked was that I not be charged if I could not make it to the hotel. The lady at the front desk said the owner said he would still charge me whether I made it or not. This blew my mind. I’m here at home terrified trying to evacuate and get a room for shelter and this is what I was having to deal with while as a mom I am feeling helpless , terrified and just trying to keep it together. I would never recommend staying here or giving business to a person like this !!

  The hotel was quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had our dog with us and he enjoyed the stay. Plenty of space for dog to go for a walk. I highly recommend.

  They gave us a ‘upgrade’ but the only thing they gave us was a single king sized bed and a fold out bed that they wouldn’t help us unfold.

  Clean rooms full breakfast eggs Not overcooked. Would definitely stay here again.
