  The front desk people are nice. However, the room upon our arrival had prior guests who smoked in it and it reeked. They also had covered up the fire alarm of which I reported to the staff. I’m a person who takes the sheets and bedding off when I leave and I found some kind of substance on the cover which was directly under the sheet coving the bed … only good thing about breakfast was the waffle maker as the biscuits and toast were as hard as a rock. Just keeping it real. If I could post the smell here I would and rate that a -1 .. I’m afraid I’ll have to air my possessions out for awhile. Tub was excellent for sore bones and clean. Oh almost forgot housekeeping kept knocking at the door even though checkout is at noon.

  Between crack heads & cockroaches we didn’t know which one was going to get us first. If you wanna feel unsafe and uncomfortable this is the place to go! Staff was nice that’s about it, I guess because they knew what we were walking into…

  I stayed for a short trip. Rooms are nice. The bed was comfortable, free wifi, and the hotel provides a nice breakfast.

  I recently stayed at this hotel for a short work trip. I always read reviews before I go and stay somewhere and there were a lot of mixed reviews about this hotel. And with there not being many options in El Campo, I decided to take a chance and stay at the Best Western in town. I am very glad that I decided to just see for myself because I was very pleased. My first impression is the hotel employees were extremely friendly and welcoming. It does seem like a little bit of a older hotel but I was able to see that there had been some upgrades. It is a outside hotel so of course sometimes the outside factors may be an issue. I have lived in Texas my entire life and I know how Texas Summers can be absolutely horrible when it comes to bugs. But it was nothing major, if you leave the door open of course things can come in, etc. the front desk employee did explain to me that during the summer season they do have mild issues with bugs but they try to keep on top of it to the best of their abilities. Also the young lady I spoke with at the front desk seemed like she was dealing with a lot she explained to me that they were upgrading their computer system,etc. so there was a lot going on but honestly from what I saw they were handling things very well. She also spoke very highly of her general manager and if I had any questions and concerns that she could not help me with that her GM would be more than happy to assist. The bed was comfortable the TV service was great all in all I will definitely come back and stay at this hotel again. They also have a fantastic breakfast with a lot of options. And unfortunately I did not have the time to enjoy their pool they have available for guests but I did go check it out and it is a super nice and very clean pool.
