  PICK SOMEWHERE ELSE. DO NOT STAY HERE. We stayed last night for a pit stop after a long drive from down south. My husband booked this room and this is what I get for not doing it myself. I have travelled a lot for my job, so this was about the worst I’ve ever been in. Usually best western is great but this was really beyond. We were sooo tired and arrived around midnight and were put in a handicapped room. At first I was excited because I didn’t have to climb stairs, but quickly reality set in. Upon entering the room, it was soooo unbelievably damp and stunk to high heaven of a weird combo of wet dog, old cigarettes, mildew/mold, or maybe all of the above. It was pungent. The entire carpet was damp from the incredible amount of moisture and humidity in the room. It was less humid outside. The air conditioning did nothing to rectify that situation. My clean socks became filthy and soaked. The bottom bed sheet was in actuality a flat top sheet which did not stay in place and I woke up on the mattress pad. Yeah. There were weird stains on what little bedding there was, so I went out to my vehicle and got my own blanket and my pillow. Here you are given exactly two towels. If you have long hair, this ain’t the place for you. If you are disabled and in a wheel chair, this ain’t the place for you either and don’t expect to reach any soap dispensers in the shower or sink, and if you need to press your clothes, won’t be able to reach the iron. Accessibility was not thought out well here. If you’re in a wheel chair, you’re not going to be able to reach the shower head. The bathtub bottom anti slip area was absolutely filthy so if you are able bodied, brave, and do decide to ignore this review and stay there, pretend you’re camping and bring your shower shoes. It will also help you not get your socks wet from the dampness in the carpet. If I had known what we were getting, I would have chosen to either A) sleep in my vehicle B) not let my husband make this reservation or C) got coffee and finished the trek back to PA with toothpicks holding up my eyelids. It was that bad. People smoke outside the rooms even though there are signs not to, so you are greeted with a cloud of cigarette smoke while trying to get in your door. So if you’re on oxygen this also ain’t the place for you. I could not wait to get out of there, and, because of the dampness smell situation I drove four hours home to take a shower in my own house. Upon unloading my stuff after the trip, my husband says “your blanket stinks like that room!!” Wow. Just. Wow.

  Was absolutely disgusting I just booked a new hotel and left smelled like somebody smoked 20 packs in the room was just awful

  Definitely should have read the reviews before coming. I appreciate the effort for cleanliness but this place really reminds me of a hotel you would see in the TV show the First 48. The moment we opened our non smoking room, it reeked like cigarettes. The carpet floor felt damp on your feet. It felt gross & uncleaned in certain areas. & not to forget mentioning, the toilet was clogged when we got there, I guess we will have to use the washroom elsewhere. This place is alright if you are looking for a minimal nights of rest!
