Unfortunately, this was not a pleasant stay.
When we arrived, there was no bedding provided for the bed, and the sofa bed had not been prepared, even though I had made sure to indicate the correct number of guests when making the reservation.
I understand that bedding needs to be sent out for cleaning, but there should be enough inventory available to accommodate guest turnover.
Additionally, the bathtub in our room (301) was dirty. There were hairs and a clump of hair in the filter. My children are two and four years old, so the hair clearly did not belong to them.
The mattress in the master bedroom was also damaged at the foot of the bed, causing it to sink into a V-shape when lying down.
Furthermore, the door in the hallway kept slamming shut, creating a constant disturbance. Installing a soft-close mechanism would be a simple solution to this issue.
Overall, I would rate our stay 3 out of 10.

My wife an I came here on a whim for our fourth wedding anniversary. I got the saranac suite for two days. There were no problems whatsoever. Loved that the staff was friendly and helpful. Guests were kind and courteous.

Absolutely horrible experience, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. My wife and I drove 1.5 hrs out of our way to rent an executive suite with the jetted tub. If that's what you're looking forward to, don't do it! We started filling the tub with hot water and my wife got in and when I turned it on black and green mold and mildew flakes came out and were floating in the water. Two days later she had a UTI and a yeast infection. Guess I should have mentioned our fist impression of the $300 a night Executive Suite. I open the door and go in and the entire suite, both rooms and the bathroom were covered in glitter. Glitter everywhere, in the corners, in the shower, on the toilet, on the couch on the sink and on the table. The only place there wasn't glitter was the bed, so I guess I know the sheets got changed or the party never made it under the sheets. It was everywhere, including my suitcase when I got home and in my beard. It looked like a hooker had....never-mind! Good thing my wife was with me to know the truth.
We traveled all day enjoying the waterfalls and I was exhausted from working the night before and not getting any sleep so when we got to the room at 10:30 pm I wasn't in the mood to complain, I just figured I'd send an email in the morning and just explain the situation that way. I wasn't looking to make it a big deal, apparently niether are the locations managers because I've got crickets. I get a generic or automated response from corporate in Arizona and nothing from the employees that manage the hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay down the street. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is NOT a priority at the Best Western and their silence says all you need to know about their communication.
