8 days, 7 nights stay, average nightly cost $190.00 + tax mid June. Location worked for us as we didn't mind driving to various attractions. Mostly two lane roads, light traffic (avg 55 mph).

Wonderful hotel, staff, and rooms in the heart of Penn Yan and the Finger Lakes wine region! Definitely recommend! It's been years since I've stayed at a Best Western, and decided to try it out given the reviews and the rooms. It was great and I will definitely stay here again! I got a King room w/ a sofa pull-out for a little extra space (I was working remotely and wanted a little more "office/relaxing" space during my trip). The room was updated and very clean. The water pressure in the shower was top notch. The rooms were also very quiet (we didn't hear our neighbors or hallway noise - we were on the 3rd floor, #316, away from the elevator). The free breakfast in the morning was a definitely "plus!" Every single staff person we interacted with was attentive and kind. There was also a free EV car charging station onsite!! The location was in the heart of Penn Yan - 8 min walk to a coffee shop/restaurants/shops. If you have time, I highly recommend renting a bike from Shoreline Rentals and riding the Keuka Outlet trail - beautiful! Looking forward to coming back and staying at this Best Western again!
Unfortunately staying here was one of my below average hotel experiences, mainly due to the poorly sound insulated rooms.
I got a room on the second floor and there was constant loud footsteps, doors and banging noise from the celling and outside my door 24/7. I can clearly tell the building is quite cheaply built and it seems like they miss out a lot of sound proofing in it, and the wooden flooring in the rooms amplified the sounds too. I understand some noise is normal due to it being a "2 over 1" kind of wooden frame structure, but i've stayed in even cheaper motels before without such serious noise issues.
Other than that, the staff were generally very friendly and welcoming, and had all the things like tissues and bottled water available when asked. The breakfast is very solid too with a wide selection of food and a few hot options.
Overall its quite a bad stay for me but I'm sure if you get a top floor room there would be less issues.
Very comfy beds & clean rooms, very helpful, friendly staff, delicious coffee & breakfast all at a great price! The only downside? Seems like paper thin walls!!!
Absolutely blown away!! Rachel checked us in and was so friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the beds are super comfy and clean and the breakfast options are full of variety. We can’t wait to stay here again on another trip!
