The carpet looked like crime scenes everywhere. My feet were totally black from walking barefoot on carpet. Bathroom light didn't work. Room had not been vacuumed...there was dog food everywhere as well as bits of garbage. This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. They are not worthy of the Best Western franchise.

It is a serviceable place to stay when attending Convention Center meetings. I have a very negative and entirely unnecessary encounter with a young housekeeping woman as a result of simply asking a question. I spoke to the front desk asking to speak to the manager. She had left for the day but they asssured me she would call the next day. It is now 11 days later and I have yet to receive a call. So, apparently it is OK for a guest to be treated rudely and disrespectfully. Sadly, the encounter and lack of responsiveness drove my rating down.

Outside of obvious updates to the room, there were a number of additional issues. There were pieces of food on the floor, out in the open, which tells me that the room wasn't cleaned properly (if at all) and there were wads of hair on the shower walls, which tells me the shower also wasn't cleaned. When we arrived in the room, it was freezing cold, so we turned the air off. Before going to bed, we tried to turn the air on and the buttons would light up, but it wouldn't do anything. Overall, would not recommend and would not stay again.
Take my advice and avoid this hotel. This place is the worst Best Western we've ever stayed in. The floors were sticky, the a/c rattled all night, the tv did not work, the refrigerator was not cold, the tub was clogged, the breakfast was awful, the hot tub was not hot. When we complained the clerk told us that the owners were trying to save money. The front desk clerk when we checked out (James) was rude and could care less about our complaints. We tried reaching out to the manager (Lisa) and after leaving several messages for her she called back about a week later. She stated that the owners were planning to renovate the hotel in a couple of months and gave us a $30 refund. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel.

So with an hotel that offers laundry 50% of the laundry machines were out of order - not ideal when you are on a month long road trip and have booked accommodation based on certain facilities. It got worse when the remaining 50% ate our money and then failed. Zero internet and zero hot water plus the shower didn't work. Cold washes for us then.
The "gentleman" who checked us out simply said "thank you for staying with us come back soon!" Not acceptable!!
Our only saving grace was Chrystal who really needs to be formally recognised for outstanding customer service. She even offered us her own cell phone to use data as we are from the UK and needed to contact home. Chrystal is an absolute superstar even though we didn't take her up on her kind offer.
Get your act together Best Western and please do feel free to contact me directly regarding this disaster of a stay!
