    To whom it may concern, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at the Best Western in Artesia. When I made my reservation through Booking.com, the listing clearly stated that check-in began at 2:00 PM. Based on that information, I planned my travel accordingly and arrived at the hotel at approximately 2:10 PM expecting my room to be ready. Upon arrival, the front desk employee informed me that my room was not ready and stated that the hotel’s actual check-in time was 3:00 PM. I explained that the reservation details provided during booking specifically listed check-in starting at 2:00 PM. Her response was simply that “that is through a third party,” without any acknowledgment of the inconvenience this caused. What was most disappointing was not only the inconsistency in the advertised check-in time, but also the lack of customer service and professionalism shown during the interaction. There was no apology offered, no attempt to accommodate us while we waited, and no suggestion to store our luggage temporarily so we could make use of our time. As paying guests, we rely on the accuracy of the information provided when booking accommodations. If the hotel does not honor the advertised check-in time shown through Booking.com, then that discrepancy should be corrected to avoid misleading future guests. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate steps be taken to improve communication and customer service practices at this location. Given the inconvenience and poor handling of the situation, I would also appreciate some form of compensation or goodwill gesture, such as a voucher, partial refund etc. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
