  I didn't get past the call to book a room from this particular establishment! I have never been treated so rudely while trying to book a hotel room ever, and these people at this particular hotel surely are in dire need of professional management! Aside from the extremely bad reviews written from former patrons, this was probably the worst experience we've ever had without even booking a room! We were deciding if we wanted to stay for the 3 day holiday at the Best Western located across the street from the Flying J travel Center. My husband, myself and our dog. I asked if the hotel accepts pets. Yes they do, however, there are restrictions, which is fine. Then the "grilling" began... How much does your dog weigh?? What kind of dog is it?? Is it a big dog that weighs over 60 pounds?? Wow. Ok, my answers seemed to satisfy them.... Then another person took over the conversation. She explained it would be an additional $40.00 per night for our dog to stay, then quoted me a price for the room which was more than double the price of the room than was advertised online!! WHOA! We then decided that it sounded like they didn't want us to stay there, and so we did not, and opted to choose a more reasonable and friendlier hotel to accommodate us for the next 3 days. It will be a long time, if ever, that we call a BEST WESTERN to book a room. Especially here in Mississippi.

  Everything was great until we opened the door to the room. Don't stay in room 311, it stinks, really bad. Smelled like mold. Everything, carpet, bedding etc. felt damp.

  Room wasn't very clean carpet was filthy with stains everywhere. Overcharged. Front desk was not friendly

  Big shout out to Jackie ! She went above and beyond. Too bad the elevator was down. Southern hospitality at BWP.

  Sink's pipes broken and disconnected . Sink itself broken therefore unusable. AC vents caked in mold of many colors. Room's floor had muddy boot prints. Staff although polite, were very unhelpful. Two extra towels was their solution. Was assured a minor (insulting) discount, to no avail at present. A "Patel" property. IYKYK. State health needs to pay a visit most definitely.
