Well... we stayed in the Elvis room. I didn't think its the original bed. But It felt like. The bathroom is super small and the toilet is on the floor. As for the jetted tub. It was clean but weathered. If you want to say you stayed in Elvis room, it may be worth the price of admission. But for the $145 I think you could find better. As for the staff that checked me in at the front. They were very professional and courteous.
Super clean and great smelling upon arrival. Pool area is nice. Super great location next to the Route 66 Mother Road. Tub should be replaced and coffee maker doesn’t work, but no biggie, I’d rather go to Dunkin’ anyway, right?
The room itself was nice but VERY dirty. By mistake I booked a pet room instead of a standard one, no biggie! I will say though it certainly wasn’t cleaned enough for guests without pets. I am also highly allergic to animals. The floor has visible dust and dirty along with many bugs. My room has many gnats and mosquitoes even with the window and door being closed. For a highly rated hotel I just assumed there would be more action taken to clean the room. There also appeared to be no hot water? Whenever I showered (granted it was late) my water took almost 20 minutes to even get to room temp. While grabbing a towel I noticed a very large and mysterious brown mark, this wasn’t a stain but instead appeared to be a recent replacement for toilet paper. Happy with my room but sadly unhappy with the cleanliness.
Horrible, terrible, no good, very bad stay. We came to town to visit my grandparents, we stay at best westerns all the time and figured it would be fine, it was not. We were placed in an adjoining room, without checking with us, next door to 2 young men who's conversation carried through the wall all night. The walls are so thin that though the smoke detector in our room was not beeping due to low battery one near by was and we could hear the alert beep every about 45seconds. The woman in the room behind the bathroom could be heard cackling all night. The hair dryer slot was there but the hair dryer was missing, the box spring was torn underneath and dangled below the bed skirt, it was mostly clean but that didn't help us sleep. Exhausted from a 29 hour road trip, we still were not able to sleep, we would have been better off saving the $118 and sleeping on a friend's couch. If it's between this place and couch surfing, choose the couch. Oh also breakfast is impossible to access due to the serving area being tiny tiny along with the physical placement. I've slept better on a Greyhound.

I thought the best thing about staying at this hotel was its location. Springfield has newly installed the Queens Gate monument and musical rumbles that you drive over to play a song. Both of those are 5 star activities. The motel is definitely dated, especially the bathrooms. They could use a little updating to not look broke. Service was friendly. Breakfast area is very small and food was typical hotel food. Didn't experience the pool so I cant speak to that.
