  It was good but we would've appreciated towel bars, grab bars by tub and toilet and USB charging portals. There weren't any of these.

  Room is outdated. We didn’t get full lake view which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast does get super busy and jammed in rush hour. Ok selection of choices. Room is spacious and bedding’s are comfortable. The Ontario building ran out of hot water easy so please be prepared.

  Nice hotel but the rooms need an upgrade. Staff were friendly and the location was excellent. We loved the fire pit and s’mores.

  Lovely view of Lake Michigan. Rooms are average comfort; no grab bars in bathroom; beds comfortable; linens clean and plentiful. Huge drawback is total absence of charging ports for electronic devices...none, nil, nada. For an establishment in 2026 that labels (and charges) themselves as a "resort", this is inexcusable. Breakfast is delicious. Dining room floor is uneven and hazardous. This BW is in need of an upgrade inseveral areas.

  When I booked our reservation close to a year ago, I secured an incredible rate. Sometime after booking, I discovered that the rate had been changed to nearly three times the original amount, without any correspondence or notification from the hotel. While the issue was handled quickly once I brought it to their attention, it was definitely concerning and left me feeling a little uneasy about the reservation. I’ll admit, I checked it more than once leading up to our trip! Fast forward to our arrival at Best Western Harbor Point Lakefront, and those concerns quickly disappeared. Derron greeted us and had us checked in quickly and efficiently to room 257 in the Ontario building — and WOW. Huge, gorgeous, lakefront, and a corner room with an absolutely beautiful view. We couldn’t have asked for better. Our entire stay was wonderful. The room was great, the property was beautiful, and every employee we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. We also loved the evening s’mores around the campfire and ended up meeting some incredibly friendly fellow guests, which made the experience even better. Sometimes you just have to give people, places, and things another chance to make things right — and Harbor Point absolutely did that. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property or stay here again myself. And if you can snag a lakefront corner room like 257, do it! Thank you, Best Western Harbor Point Lakefront, for making things right and giving us such a wonderful stay.
