Unfortunately, this was one of the least hospitable hotel experiences we’ve had.
The two front desk employees working during our stay demonstrated very poor customer service. My 13-year-old daughter was repeatedly stopped and told she was not allowed to walk down the hallway without a parent, even when simply going to grab a snack or visit a teammate’s room. Throughout the weekend, it also seemed as though new printed rules were continually being posted and enforced as situations arose.
On Friday evening, several team parents gathered quietly in the lobby till 10:00 p.m. We were not loud or disruptive. By Saturday morning, a new sign had appeared stating that gatherings of more than 13 people were not permitted anywhere on the property. This was particularly frustrating considering our softball team had reserved rooms as a group, so the hotel was fully aware they would be hosting a team.
In an effort to comply with the new policies, we reserved a conference room for Saturday from 5:00-11:00 p.m. Due to game schedules, traffic delays caused by a widespread power outage in the area, and the hotel itself experiencing a power outage, we arrived around 7:00-7:30 p.m. to use the room. We were then informed that because we had not checked in by 7:00 p.m., the reservation had been canceled. The room was sitting empty and was not needed by any other guest, so it was disappointing that no effort was made to accommodate a large group of paying guests who had reserved the space until 11:00 p.m.
If hosting youth sports teams is an inconvenience, the hotel should reconsider offering group rates and booking codes for these types of events.
The rooms themselves were subpar, but the lack of hospitality and flexibility from the front desk staff was the true deal-breaker. We travel frequently for tournaments and will be taking our business elsewhere for future events.

This is the dirtiest hotel we have ever stayed in. The bathroom floors were so dirty our feet were black on the bottom. Had to get our own clean linens, toliet paper and kleenex. Would never stay there or recommend this hotel to anyone.
The bathroom was a mess, the handle on the tub was about to fall off, as was the spout to the tub. The shower curtain was also about to fall down, only 1 screw barely holding it on at each end. The floor and grout was disgusting to say the least. Very dirty room
The rate, the staff, the included breakfast, the location, and most importantly, the whirlpool tub suite.... Everything is on point here. Super grateful for the whirlpool rooms, this separates this hotel from the others. As someone trying to live a fun and full life with a painful chronic illness, the whirlpool tub in-room is a game changer!! Also so great to have a microwave, and a mini fridge that had a small freezer for my ice pack for my back!! Front desk was expecting me at check in by name, we were offered extra pillows, room was clean, perfect location, and whirlpool tub worked perfectly. We'll see you again!
