This Best Western was affordable and perfect for our trip. You’ll be equidistant to downtown Portland and the South Portland / Willard Beach area. The hotel staff was very hospitable. The complimentary morning breakfasts were great, and the staff went the extra mile for us in other ways!

Worst experience I've ever had. I stay in hotels all over the country and a Best Western Platinum member.
These are the most amateur people I've ever encountered.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my enemies, let alone my friends.
This was a great place to stay. Easy access to a variety of nearby cities and state parks. We loved the pool area along with a fire pit. Every employee was kind and seemed to be happy to work there. There was a great variety of food available at breakfast. We loved that we could eat inside or outside. The coffee machine (spectacular with a lot of choices) and water refill machine were nice to have available to us all day.
No sure where the positive reviews are coming from.
This is a very dated hotel. The bathroom has no exhaust fan, so the humidity lingers, and there is a noticeable, penetrating smell.
The toilet handle had to be held down to flush, and the bathtub had a patch on one side.
shower pressure was good !
The bed was okay, but the pillows were small. The AC made a constant noise throughout the night.
The room appeared clean, if you disregard the dark carpet—I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot on it.
Breakfast was about what I expected.
Overall, I’m not sure how this hotel received the reviews I read. My experience was much less impressive.
Gorgeous large outdoor pool (indoor section is very small but also has hot tub) and lots of seating available on pool deck. This was the highlight for us. Breakfast was pretty good for this type of hotel. Convenient location. Staff was accommodating and warm. A phone call prior to check in especially impressed me, friendly, answered promptly, solved my problem.
The cons: the rooms are very worn. There were multiple minor cosmetic repairs needed throughout the room and hotel that did not impact our stay or comfort. The air conditioner was an issue, not fully functional and making a variety of strange and unpredictable noises. Our neighboring room was similarly afflicted.
Overall we would stay again, depending on the price. We got a good deal so it felt like a good value. If I had paid closer to $300 a night, I probably wouldn't have been as happy.
