  I had a 4-night stay at this Best Western hotel. Overall, the experience was not the best, but also wasn't catastrophic either. As far as the good things go, the staff here is wonderful and very friendly. The beds are comfortable, housekeeping is in to change linens and towels frequently, and the room is nice and cool which is a plus in this humidity. The breakfast is decent. There are plenty of options for everyone in the family. As far as the negatives, this property is old and in much need of updates. Upon entering the building, there is a very prominent mildew smell. There is also what appears to be a water stain on our ceiling (photo attached). Whether this is an active or old leak, I am unaware of, but may be contributing to the moldy scent. The rooms are very dated. The carpet is old and has a sticky feel to it. The pool appears to be rusting at the bottom and in need of some love. I am a neat freak and noticed the visible dust on the metal lamp bases. The rooms are generally fairly clean but could be cleaner for sure.
