  Great stay with family. All The staff was very friendly and helpful. A big thanks to Ms Debbie for all the help with restaurant to eat at and telling us about the state park since our gator tour was canceled because of rain. Our 4yrs grandson got to see 3 gators. Thank yall all for a wonderful stay.

  When we first arrived we were given a room that was still dirty and we let the front desk know. The next morning the cleaners made sure to make EXTRA noise. Banging, loud talking and everything. I say extra because the days after we're not like that. On the last day, the fire alarm went off in our room saying low battery at 4am. We called front desk for help and their response was " No ones here till 9". No help or anything. We typically come here every year to visit family and it was tolerable but after this experience I dont know if we want to come back even though its conveniently located. Not worth it.

  Absolutely disgusting experience at Best Western in Westwego, Louisiana. We drove in from Texas before a cruise and walked into a filthy room—dirty blankets, stained sheets and pillows, and grime dripping down the headboards. The toilet wouldn’t flush, and we were handed a plunger like that’s acceptable. We had to strip the beds ourselves, get new sheets, and fully sanitize the room—our wipes turned black. The phone cords were even cut. When we asked to switch rooms, the front desk said they were “booked” and did nothing. His attitude was careless and he even ignored a call from corporate. To make things worse, people were popping fireworks behind the hotel at 9 p.m., and there were random individuals roaming the parking lot looking into car windows. We felt completely unsafe. No compensation, no solution, no concern. Completely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.
