  Very nice hotel but metal bed frames, sounds like I'm dropping anchor 😭 (beds are still comfortable)

  The good: The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. The bad: THE HUMIDITY. Our rooms on the first floor were so humid that the bedspread, towels, and toilet paper were damp to the touch. One of our rooms was worse than the others, with water condensing all over the floor (see picture). I didn't use my shower because I knew the room would become even more unbearably damp and humid. There were no ventilation or dehumidification measures taken at all (not even a fan in the bathroom). There were no other rooms available in the hotel either, so I was stuck with this for two nights. I will never return to this hotel.

  I cannot express enough how amazing the staff was at this Best Western!! I had been in an accident and found myself stranded. Upon check-in, Jill and Brittany were very kind and helpful. The next morning Shelby was also kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with even fresh fruit being offered. The location was clean and well maintained, with AMAZING air conditioning. Which was essential during this heat wave. If I ever find myself in Morehead, KY I will definitely stay there again!!

  The STAR of this facility - Mrs. Shelby, sweetest pie on eyes and customer service skills surpass all. And to have the ability to be extremely personable, especially dealing with yes day in and day out does not say enough about Shelby. A YouTuber for the past decade, I’ve done my fair share and traveling, bouncing in and out of hotels. Bare bones, Benstein monotone is generally what you get behind the counter because it’s what they do every single day. Mrs. Shelby was approached by myself (heavy New York Philadelphia accent with slight southern draw )early AM I’m not local way far away from home and she didn’t blow me off. She didn’t give me a short answer. She didn’t look at me sideways because the way I was dressed and the way that I talk, which all too often I get, especially down south. We engaged in conversation and she assisted me greatly, very informative very polite. If ever there was a time to give an employee a raise coming from somebody out of New York and Pennsylvania who frequent hotels a lot you need to keep this woman on your staff. The repetition of Work deadens in regards to customer service they’re there to check you in check out and don’t really care to chop it up heavy THANK YOU MRS. SHELBY Location perfect just about anything you need around It is the best western there kept a standard. That’s why we stay here. Nothing wrong with the hotel. Very nice breakfast.
