  Rooms are small, bathrooms are small. Worst is the AIR CONDITIONER. SOOO LOUD it gave us all headaches. Turn it off and it's TOOO HOT! NICE VIEW if you have a balcony. Not enough seating for 4 people though. You could put 1 beside the LOUD a/c, 1 at desk and 2 on the balcony. Tv is fine. 3 drawers and 1 closet for clothes. Breakfast is OK. Milk is ONLY whole milk. Dinning area VERY SMALL. Breakfast hostess/ server not as kind as she could have been. Convenient location.

  I stayed at this hotel once in June and remember leaving feeling like I probably wouldn’t stay again, but I couldn’t remember exactly why. I decided to give it another try this month, and the second I tried to take a shower, I remembered—the hotel does not have properly hot water. The shower gets lukewarm at best, and even the sink water never gets truly hot. I spoke with the staff about it and was told that the water “just doesn’t get as warm as it does at home.” 🙄 I’m not expecting my exact home water temperature, but I do expect a hotel room to have an adequately hot shower. This was an issue during both of my stays, months apart, so it clearly wasn’t just a one-time problem. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here again.

  Location is awesome, right here at the beach. The staff have been incredible. Perfect location for local nightlife and walking around

  I notified the staff on the day we arrived that our room did not have hot water. Even with the faucet turned all the way to the hottest setting, the water was only lukewarm closer to cold than hot. My toddler could comfortably keep their hands under the water, which shows just how cool it was. The staff member working that evening dismissed the issue, attributing it to high hotel occupancy. No one came to inspect the problem or offered any meaningful assistance, and nothing was done to resolve it that night. The following morning, I checked on the status of the work order. The daytime staff made an effort to help and sent someone to our room twice to check the water. The first time, she let the water run for several minutes until it became hot. However, as soon as she left, the water turned cold again when we actually tried to shower. I'm not sure what the underlying issue was, especially since I was told the hotel had recently installed a new hot water heater. After spending our only night without reliable hot water, I decided to check out early rather than stay another night. After checking out, I found another hotel nearby with excellent accommodations, including reliable hot water, and it made a significant difference in the rest of our trip. The hotel's location was convenient, but after a long day at the beach, a hot shower is a basic expectation. Not having reliable hot water made it difficult to relax and interfered with my ability to sleep. While I appreciate that the daytime staff (day two only) genuinely tried to resolve the issue, it was never fixed during our stay. The contrast between the dismissive response from the evening staff (day one) and the efforts of the daytime staff was noticeable, but unfortunately, the problem remained unresolved.

  My wife and I traveled from north Louisiana (800) miles to take care of some business dealing with a burial of a family member. Once it was taken care of we were spending a few days to relax there on the beach. We absolutely loved the location and the environment. The breakfast was great as well. We had no problem with the parking as it was paid parking and easy. We had 1 major problem. We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor with the balcony facing the swimming pool , parking lot and a small street where there were shopping stores and people walking back and forth to the beach. This particular room had a shattered sliding glass door which had been boarded up with plywood. We couldn’t see outside. In order to enjoy the scenery we had to actually open the sliding door and go out onto the balcony. I questioned the possibility of getting a different room but was told there were no vacancies. I questioned it the next day and was willing to pay for an upgrade but was told the same. In our opinion this room should not have been assigned to anyone and if so at a discounted rate. I say that because it was advertised as a city view. Although disappointed we would stay again at this establishment but I’d call in advance to be assured of a better view.
