  “Hotel Stank & Dank” Let me first off say I’m surprised they are still open. This is hands down the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in my 44 years of life. It stank from the day I got there to the day I left. The pictures on the website either from AI or before they had their first guest so there’s that. Upon entering check in it stank. And it was humid that left you feeling not quite dry the entire time. After a mid check in the elevator was disgusting and smelled like it would quit on me at any second. Upon getting to my floor the carpet was old and smelled like a nursing home & filthy and had tissues on it. So finally I arrive to my room and looked like my 3 year old nephew cleaned it by himself. I immediately went and purchase my own cleaning supplies and the results were heinous. Also there was a stain on the couch that looks like it’s been there since Christ walked the Earth. Fridge - yuck! Bathroom still had someone’s hairs & just felt nasty to the point I slept on top of covers for my 3 day stay. It’s also next to a strip club !!!! Just FYI. If not for the halfway ok breakfast & semif friendly they’d gotten 0 stars. Which leads me to my last day headed back to my room and the roof was leaking and hit me in the face with God knows what. If you are in this area please avoid this spot like the plague. I hope they relocate all employees and shut this place down expeditiously! SN: Check Out is 11 & @ 1050 housekeeping came and was very rude.

  Very Disappointing and Unclean Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We actually had to switch rooms because the first room had water all over the floor. The mini fridge was broken and leaking, leaving a significant amount of water on the floor. Unfortunately, switching rooms did not solve the problem. Both rooms were nasty. The rooms had a strong, musty smell, the bathrooms were dirty, and the sink in the second room was clogged. Overall, both rooms felt neglected, poorly maintained, and in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. Cleanliness and basic maintenance should be the bare minimum at any hotel, and unfortunately, neither was up to an acceptable standard during our stay. That being said, the personnel were very helpful, friendly, and professional. I have absolutely no complaints about the staff. My concerns are strictly with the condition, cleanliness, and maintenance of the rooms.

  Arrived for a business conference in Fort Lauderdale over the weekend and stayed with my family at your property. Had an amazing stay and your staff and beautiful hotel made our trip experience perfect.

  This hotel is awful. First of all it's not clean, hair in the shower and sink. The first night, I was put in a room where the elevator was so loud all night and kept waking me up, so I switched rooms. Then, two nights later, my fire alarm started chirping one evening which wasn't a huge deal, but they couldn't fix it so I took it off the wall. The same night around 12:30 while I was sleeping, I got numerous calls to my hotel room which woke me up. When I picked up each time, no one was there. I was pretty freaked out and had trouble sleeping for the rest of the night. I ended up checking out a day early and finding a different hotel because I was so tired and unhappy. The worst part was that I got into contact with the manager Juan and he was rude and only refunded me for the night I checked out early. Please look elsewhere.

  I can't complain! My stay was fine. My room was fine, I don't walk into a 3 star hotel looking for perfection with a white glove nor do I flip mattresses looking for bugs. I just try and look for the silver lining. I genuinely feel bad that the hotel struggles to make customers happy. I can only imagine the cost involved with running such a huge building, especially an older one. But what can say is that everyone was nice and friendly. I was in 101, which is very accessible. Firsts floor for easy access in and out, right next to the pool, which was very nicely maintained. The room itself was fine, not perfect, but nothing specific and complain worthy. My bed was very comfortable which to me is one very important detail. The highway is a double edged sword, great for easy commute but loud as hell. The staff were all wonderful. The lobby was great, complimentary coffee was on point. Didn't even bother trying the in room one when I saw that. I just went and asked for a few clean towels when I needed them and it wasn't a problem. Only stayed 2 nights and it was workable. Id probably stay again but it sounds like it's hit or miss depending on what room you get.
