  Moni and mahogany are literally the nicest women I’ve ever interacted with. After learning that my visit was for my Anniversary their response was “We wish we had known because wr would have loved to decorate the room” you literally don’t meet women like them who are MORE THAN WILLING to go out of their way to make someone else feel special. I hope that Best Western recognizes these amazing women because the world is already a cruel place but having people who care genuinely is the reason why people are able to have a good day

  This marina location was super convenient to everything! We were there for a wedding on the base and we were all super happy we could be there in less than 6 min. :) The bathrooms are a little small, but there's not much we could do about that part. We had the essentials to get the job done. Breakfast was free. Easy parking. Heated pool. TV was on the table so I could have attached my fire stick tv easily if I had brought it. Try to get the marina view. You'll be happy u did. Our group stayed on all floors (2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th(me), and 6th. No complaints. My cousin was in room 416 and she did have more of the stairs view than the poo/marinal, so I would probably wouldn't want the end room (if I had a choice). She didnt even notice....lol This is definitely not an elegant hotel, but it definitely gets the job done and all of us left happy and pleased. Yes, we would each stay there again. :)

  I had an excellent stay at this Best Western! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One of my favorite features was the heated pool and hot tub, which were perfect for relaxing after a long day. I also had a beautiful bay-view room with a private balcony where I could sit back, enjoy a drink, and take in the scenery. The breakfast was great with plenty of options to start the day. Overall, the staff, amenities, and location made for a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

  I had a generally okay stay, and I want to note that most of the front desk staff I interacted with were kind and helpful. However, I had one interaction with a front desk staff member( long curly hair ) that felt unprofessional and left me uncomfortable. After checking into the original room, I briefly entered the room and then requested a room change at the front desk. At that time, I also mentioned that we had only briefly entered the room and had not made any significant use of it or disturbed anything. After the room change was completed, I received a phone call to the in-room phone from the front desk regarding the original room. I was informed that there were items left behind. When I asked for clarification, I was told there were “enough” items, which I later understood to mean a few tissues, an empty water bottle, and slightly moved pillows. I later also raised this concern with another front desk staff member, who informed me that under normal circumstances, this type of situation would not require a phone call. While I understand housekeeping may report room conditions, I found the call unnecessary after the room had already been changed. The tone of the call felt unprofessional and came across as accusatory, which affected my experience. I appreciated the assistance with changing room, but I hope future guest communication can be handled in a more neutral and professional manner.

  This is not a five star hotel. It’s a two or three star hotel. BUT, it does two or three star REALLY well. The building is old. The lobby isn’t fancy. You have to walk up a short flight of stairs to get from the car park to the lobby. However, the staff is friendly. The rooms are clean and reasonably quiet. Not completely silent, but not noisy by any means. The beds are comfortable. Not luxurious, but comfortable. And, the shower has actual soap. Not stupid bloody bath gel. Soap. And decent water pressure from a good shower head. You can actually get you hair wet and get the shampoo out. Plus, it’s across the street from a good pizza place right on the harbour. It’s also an easy 10 minute drive to the base if that’s why you’re here.
