This is my second summer returning to this location on a long term work assignment.
This property is a very convenient location off Interstate 5 and caters primarily to workers as there are no other options in the area.
Rooms are generally clean and quiet and allows for those who work at night to get sleep during the day.
Breakfast is served daily and is well prepared and plentiful.
Staff is very friendly and professional.
Housekeeping is on point with cleanliness.
Downsides include broken washers and dryers which is frustrating and disappointing.
This neglect of the property is both surprising and unfortunate.
There is also a lack of enforcement quiet times.
Weekends can get rowdy out by the pool with loud and foul language which interferes with sleep times.
This was a better managed property not long ago but there is a need to get back to basics.
This property can easily reclaim its status as a quality property or continue to decline through neglect of the basics.
2.5 stars out of 5.
Good location right off I5. Came in late and quick check in. Beds and rooms comfortable. Breakfast good

I was driving from Berkeley to L.A. with my 3 pets, one of whom is a mastiff breed. I had left at 1pm on a hot day and 2.5 hours into the 5.5 hour drive, my air conditioner died. In 96 degree weather, my mastiff clearly wasn't going to make it the rest of the trip. The Apricot Inn was at the next exit. With a heavily panting dog in the car, I explained the issue and a need for a room for us to cool off. Jessica helped me and got us pet friendly room where all us were able to cool off until the sun set. I paid for a full night and I had to pay a pet fee, but it was worth it. The room was clean, the AC worked, and the bed was comfortable. There are a handful of places nearby to get food and gas. The hotel is close to Highway 5, making for easier access.
Room was clean and smelled fine. The hotel is in a nice location just off the I-5. Unlike other places you might stop on the road, this one's a little pricier, but you get what you pay for. There were other amenities in the area, such as fast food, Little Caesars Pizza, gas, etc, but there weren't a lot of people hanging out in the area like there sometimes are around the roadside motels. I felt safe staying here with my 83-year-old mother. It's also pet friendly for those who are traveling with fur babies. The price was more than we wanted to pay, but it's worth it to feel comfortable and safe. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean. There was a microwave and a mini fridge. No bugs.
The complimentary breakfast was nice. If you don't want eggs and breakfast meats, there were plenty of pastries and all of the condiments. Overall, a very good experience.
Small rooms. OK maintenance. Motel is right of the interstate, easy to get to, but you can get road noise all night long.
We needed a place to stay over night and it worked.
