  When we first arrived there was an issue with our reservation which Tim and Justice resolved and added a room upgrade for the inconvenience. The room we got was on the third floor with an ocean view which was absolutely beautiful. The room was clean and smelled fresh. A little tight spacing but acceptable. The amenities were quite nice including pool, hot tub and exercise facility. We found out at arrival there was a planned power outage on the 17th from 0430 to 1430. They provided flash lights and told us a continental breakfast would be provided free of charge. They handled it well with the exception of the breakfast. I went to the cafe twice after 0700 and no food. Saw Tim who apologized and said he didn't know where they were. The Cafe otherwise was quaint and reasonably priced for a hotel cafe and was open for breakfast, lunch and supper. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and want to thank Tim, Justice and the housekeeping staff who provided excellent customer service.

  First of all the staff are VERY RUDE. They did not accommodate the special request which was NOT to be by elevators, stairways or vending machines. The guy put us right NEXT to the elevator! When I requested another room, of course he said we are all full for the night. And the girl blamed us for booking through a third party! So we are stuck listening to dinging every time the elevator opens and loud taking. He offers a different room the second night, but that would require THEM to move our stuff since we were going to be gone the entire next day at a festival. That’s NOT happening having some stranger touch our stuff. So we are stuck in this room. And as for the room, the walls are extremely thin, and one can hear whole conversations. The refrigerator is so tiny it’s a joke. The room itself is VERY cramped and claustrophobic!!!! If there wasn’t a sliding door looking outside, I’d think I was in a coffin! I would NEVER stay here again!

  The location is great. The staff was very nice. But be warned. We had a room with 2 queen beds and the beds are only fulls. When we asked about it, we were told “well we call those queen sized” as if a bed size is some arbitrary thing that you just choose.

  Female receptionist with long hair/glasses night time was rude. Recco she change her career as customer service is not her thing. Booked ocean view which she said was unobstructed— it was fully obstructed — we were tired and working next two days to bother arguing for a room change. Carpets had big stains on them which was concerning. Rooms are small, mediocre. Bathroom was nice spacious however. They charge $10 for parking which is odd in suburbia CA. Outside of that - only reason is Del Mar which was a super nice experience - beautiful beaches and nice restaurants

  Excellent location, accommodations and staff. Onsite coffee bar breakfast spot offers good food, beverages and service. The pool is nice, parking is easy and the grounds are clean and safe. Friendly and easy check in, very helpful staff. Lots of food, shopping and outdoor options nearby. I highly recommend. Happy Trails!
