  Beautiful location; old building. Looks like a motel that they slapped some paint on. Our room was behind the stairwell so we had a view of a wall. The air conditioner smells horrible. Either they need new units or they need to be maintained better. Laundry room and breakfast area were just fine.

  Worst Best Western experience. Nothing “Plus” about it. Staff was incompetent, room was so bad. Dead cockroach on floor when we walked in, misc. hairs found around room, breakfast was gone by 8:30am. No towels for hours in pool room. It took three trips back to the front desk to get our key card to work when we checked in. Lobby was full of people with issues with their rooms all afternoon and only the two overwhelmed staff on site. We stay at best westerns pretty often when we travel as a family and this was hands down the worst we’ve ever stayed at.

  We paid more and stayed here for the pool. The pool is great if you want to do an ice plunge, not good for kids. My kids were desperate to swim and their lips turned blue so fast. Plus there is no bathroom any where near the pool or workout room. The staff looked at me like I asked for a kidney when asking for a 4th towel. I've never stayed at a hotel that was so incredibly stingy with towels, 4 towels per room max!!! We will never stay here again and it seriously makes me reconsider ever staying at a Best Western again.

  Update: received a call from the general manager who acknowledged they received the email, and acknowledged they didn’t put it on file but stated it wasn’t their problem avoid this place at all cost Avoid staying at this place as this company does not follow their own policies and procedures. I put a credit card to hold the room. My company sent a credit card authorization to them to pay for the room on all charges when I arrived. I worked with the young lady at the front who printed out the credit card authorization form and they still illegally charged my card, knowing that they had a credit card authorization form for my company to pay this, this then caused overdraft fees as it is the start of the month and bills came out. The front desk women working tonight was extremely rude and told me that it was my problem and she wasn’t going to do anything about it.

  This was the WORST hotel we have stayed in! The phone didn't work in the room and we needed towels, had to walk to the office in another building. Our building smelled of musty old carpet, and it was worn and dirty. Our room was filthy, my feet were black after walking on the carpet barefoot. The smell of stale cigarette smoke made it unbearable and when I talked with the girl at the front desk she just gave me a can of air freshener. Our conversation about the non-working phone was ridiculous and she said we could message the desk, but she didn't know how we would access that system, so basically useless! The bed was awful, the a/c barely worked, the fridge was useless as well, our drinks/food would have been colder staying in our car overnight! The linens on the bed were old and torn and ragged. The walls were so thin we heard people above and below us all night. It was a nightmare stay! Oh, and the complimentary toiletries were on little bar of soap, that was it. It was awful!
