  Location of this hotel was great. Rooms are old and need to be painted and updated. Walls and doors are dirty. Corners are full of dust and dirt. The floors are linoleum that are suppose to look like wood.The entry ways to the rooms are full of dirt and leaves and the entry tiles outside rooms are broken. I'd say the outside of the hotel appearance is old looking. We are members of Best Western but this is one of the most run down hotels we've stayed in. We had to be changed to a second room because we woke up in the morning with ants on counter tops. My suggestion is to put all food in refrigerator until.they bring in an exterminator. ( If they ever bring one in.) I brought the ant problem up with the desk person. And she thanked me for telling her. The breakfast was normal, waffle cookers, scrambled eggs, some fruit, cereal, juices, bacon, muffins, and sausage. We will not stay here again. Unless they update this hotel. For the price it was not worth it. And they don't clean rooms everyday.

  Always stay here when in Bishop. Friendly staff and great location for enjoying the beautiful Eastern Sierra.

  Best Western can be hit or miss, and this one leaned more toward a miss. Breakfast was very limited unless you enjoy scrambled eggs that seemed made from powdered eggs and the standard hotel waffle setup. Even basic options like yogurt or hard-boiled eggs were missing. The room was spacious and reasonably clean. The room had AC, but it was extremely noisy and struggled to cool the space below 75°F. One thing I did appreciate was the AC placement — it was tucked behind a wall, so it wasn’t blowing directly onto the bed. The hotel location is convenient and within walking distance of Starbucks and the Bakery, although that’s true for much of Bishop. As for service, there wasn’t much interaction to comment on. I don’t believe this Best Western offers room service.

  Horrific infestation of tiny black ants in my room. Complaints to the manager unanswered. Complaints to corporate unsatisfactory resolution.
