  The staff was amazing nevertheless, I was very disappointed with the condition of the room. It had a strong moldy, mildew smell mixed with an unpleasant odor throughout. The carpet felt damp, and my shoes would stick to the floor in certain spots. The bed sheets also felt clammy and damp, making it seem like the room had a serious moisture or water damage issue. The overall environment felt humid, uncomfortable, and not clean. I would not stay here again.

  This was the worst experience I have had my mother was staying their and I came their to meet her and my aunt and my great aunt their and as soon as we walked in the front door she automatically told my kids and I we couldn’t eat their breakfast when we only came to the hotel to meet family then she proceeded to be rude for no reason and called the police like we were going to get into a physical altercation with her she has horrible customer service skills I definitely think race played a part because my family was black and she was white also some white people came behind me and nothing was said to them at all this was unacceptable to me.

  The mattress in our room was by far the worst we’ve experienced at any hotel. I would have given this property a much higher rating if we had been able to sleep comfortably during our two-night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good, and the room itself was clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the mattress was extremely worn out, with deep sagging spots and large indentations that caused us to roll toward the middle or feel like we were sliding off the edge. It was uncomfortable enough to affect our sleep both nights. This mattress should have been replaced long ago, and for a hotel of this quality, it was simply unacceptable.

  Mitzy, the manager and Enia the night desk clerk are the greatest. The hotel is nice too.

  This was the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel. Not wanting to discuss in front of other guests that we found a nasty bug with pinchers in the bed (under covers), I motioned the desk clerk over and showed her the video I took on my phone of the bug moving around. She came to room, moved pillows and pulled covers down more and she found a few ants in the bed - this was about 9pm. She was very concerned and we then packed up everything and waited in the lobby as we were told we'd get a different room only to find out no rooms were available, booked full due to local college graduation. So, at 10pm or so, I and the desk clerk were stripping the bed and putting all new bedding on. Constance was very helpful and did a great job considering all of this, even contacting the manager or someone as I think it was her first night working there. At check out the next morning, a little compensation offered on the room rate ($157 for one night which had been increased over normal rate because of graduation) would have certainly been a decent gesture from management but that didn't happen. Very disappointing.
