I stayed at this hotel for one night and unfortunately would not stay again. The biggest issue was cleanliness, both in the room and throughout the hotel.
When I arrived, there was used soap still sitting in the soap dish in the bathtub, a long dark hair hanging from one of the bathroom towels, and plastic trash behind the sink handles. The carpet clearly had not been vacuumed. There were crumbs, pieces of plastic from clothing tags, and other debris scattered around the room. Near the window, there was also what appeared to be old food or some other sticky substance ground into the carpet. The carpet immediately inside the room door was especially dirty.
The bedding also made me question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. I certainly hope the sheets were fresh, but the cover over the blanket was wrinkled and looked as though it may already have been used.
There were maintenance and amenity issues as well. The light in the room entryway flickered so badly that it was essentially unusable. The room also did not have a hair dryer, even though hair dryers are listed on the hotel’s website as a room feature. When I called the front desk, I was told there were none available.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness issues extended beyond the room. There were bags of trash and wet towels left in the hallway outside several rooms, and the hallway carpet was also noticeably dirty.
Breakfast was disappointing as well. The eggs were completely gone, the sausage was nearly empty, and there was no yogurt in the refrigerator. Tables had not been wiped clean. After waiting for a while, someone eventually restocked the yogurt, but the other items were not replenished, so we left and ate breakfast elsewhere.
Overall, the hotel simply felt unclean and poorly maintained. Any one of these issues by itself might have been easy to overlook, but taken together, they made for an uncomfortable stay.
