I sent an email regarding the quality:
I am writing to formally request a full refund of £98 for my recent stay at your Birmingham hotel.
Unfortunately, my experience fell significantly below the standard I expected and paid for. Firstly, I was allocated a disabled access room, which I had not intended to book. I had accidentally made a separate booking for July costing £46 and contacted the hotel to ask if this booking could be transferred to the correct date or refunded. However, I was informed that neither a transfer nor a refund would be provided, resulting in additional unnecessary expense.
In addition, our stay was severely disrupted throughout the night due to excessive noise from neighbouring guests, including loud sexual activity that continued for a prolonged period and prevented us from getting any meaningful sleep.
To make matters worse, the electricity in our room was switched off in the morning, causing further inconvenience and leaving us extremely dissatisfied with the overall experience.
Given the combination of these issues—the unsuitable room allocation, the refusal to assist with the mistaken £46 booking, the excessive overnight disturbance, and the loss of electricity—I do not believe the service provided was acceptable and therefore request a full refund of the £98 paid.
I would appreciate a response within 14 days. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached, I will have no choice but to leave an honest review detailing my experience.
After this I phoned the business and pretended to be a different customer and was charged only 57£ to get a room, not only that but he lied and said there where no rooms available when me and my girlfriend actually looked into another room across from ours and saw that it was completely empty. Not only that but he gave me an attitude on the phone then hung up on me whilst I was simply trying to get a reasonable response for my terrible experience. Do not use this hotel ever, believe me
