  WARNING: This hotel runs bait and switch scams!!! I booked online and it said Complimentary breakfast included. When I showed up they said I needed written proof that it was included. I couldn't get that until I returned home. I confirmed it was supposed to be included. The front desk lady was very adamant it wasn't included and that I would need to pay an extra $25/day to get breakfast. As a result I didn't have time to eat every morning. Also they booked me for $189/day. Then they billed me at $289 after the first day, saying that's their normal process and refused to refund me any money. Lastly, parking was a nightmare. I will never stay with Best Western again.

  Do not stay here, I will never be back and will be avoiding any best western going forward. Was kept up all night due to poor maintenance on an exit door that kept slamming and squealing and making noise. Brought up my concern was told they would look into it. I asked for a partial refund or something for my troubles and was told absolutely not. Other hotel chains I have stayed would have gladly offered some kind of compensation. I stay in hotels roughly 6/7 months a year this was the first time no one wanted to do anything.

  I am sharing this review as a warning for a situation that no one wants to experience... I stayed at this hotel in the past so I had no concerns about the hotel when I booked my recent reservation. At the moment of booking, I was looking forward to the visit and other activities in the area. The reservation was non refundable; I understood and allowed my card to be charged because the visit was going to be a family memory. The day before our arrival, a family member was transported by ambulance to the hospital unexpectedly and we were told to be prepared for the worst, to say our goodbyes. I was told by the hotel and the provider for the reservation that nothing can be done for a refund. While I understand policies, a person's life is worth more than a hotel room and emergencies should be included in policy decisions. I will never stay at this hotel or affiliated hotels again, nor recommend them. At the end of the day, I would rather be in the hotel than a hospital.

  This was a great place to stay! Honestly, I’m not sure why there are some negative reviews. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Anytime we needed extra towels or water, they brought it to us right away. I also couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms, which made it really relaxing. The air conditioning sounded like any typical hotel unit, nothing out of the ordinary. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the beds were fresh and cozy. We absolutely LOVED the outdoor pool. It really added that extra vacation feel, and it was nice and warm. Having a Tim Hortons right next to the hotel was also a big bonus, especially for grabbing a fresh coffee in the morning. The only downsides were the indoor pool area and the towels. The flooring around the indoor pool was quite slippery, and the lighting could definitely be improved. It felt a bit gloomy and could use a refresh, maybe even a splash of paint to make it more inviting. That said, I believe I read that renovations are planned for that area. The towels were also on the smaller side, but they were clean, so it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back!
