Worst hotel I ever stayed in a long time. Nothing about this hotel is good. If you're worker who need room to sleep in and leave. It's still 'alriight'.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. Michael the manager was very nice and helped us out with a room issue. We arrived late at night and our room smelled like cigarettes. They did not have a room available but offered to fully refund us if we could find another hotel in the area. Everywhere else was booked solid so we stayed. They gave us a very fair refund in the morning upon checkout. Very pleased with the staff which helped give this a 3 star review. Reading some of the other reviews, its apparent that us and most other people who stay here feel this is a very dated and not particularly clean hotel. The location is easy to access. Some building updates to pair with a great staff would go a long way.

We were happy with the little perks like fresh cold water, the selection of coffees, and breakfast was not bad either. The pool was okay too. However, this hotel needed an update years ago. Carpets, wallpaper, hallways, elevator, fitness room, air returns and A/C units - all needing update.

What a fever dream. I booked a stay for a mommy daughter night through expedia using TD travel points. When we arrived, check in was easy, but they tell you many times not to allow the key and your cell phone to interact or it will deactivate the card. Weird, and very outdated, but fine... we get to the room and only one card works. Check in, grab an ice holder and run down to the front desk. I open my mouth and was cut off "ive machine is on the second floor..".. yeah I know but I was there to re activate my cards. Got another reminder about the cards not being able to come close to cell phones. Thanks again for such a bizarre reminder. Rooms are outdated. Pool and hot tub were nice. Hotel needs a lot of face-lifts. This morning, flushing toilet just eneded up with the toilet backing up into the tub, which was completely filthy and yellow. Room 305. Never again. Oir view was also the massive best western sign. Lmao. They treat third party bookings like trash I guess??? ALL STAFF WERE AMAZING except Debbie downer who smelled like ciggs and a tight bun. They owe me a free night
I recently stayed at the Best Western in Cambridge for two nights. I booked a suite to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. While we enjoyed the occasion, there were several issues with our stay that I feel should be brought to your attention.
First, the rooms are in serious need of updating.
Upon arrival, the hotel was unable to locate my reservation because another guest had mistakenly been checked into the suite I had reserved. The front desk employee, Elana, handled the situation exceptionally well. She remained calm, professional, and went above and beyond throughout our stay. She is an outstanding representative of your hotel and demonstrated the qualities I would expect from a manager.
Unfortunately, my experience with the actual manager, Joanne, was quite the opposite. She came to the front desk while eating with her mouth open and was noticeably rude. I also overheard her speaking disrespectfully to Elana, which was completely unprofessional.
Because another guest had been checked into my room, Joanne had me sign a registration form that had been covered with white-out where the previous guest had already signed it. This means that whoever was mistakenly checked into my room had access to my personal information, including my address and payment information. When I raised this privacy concern, Joanne responded, “Well, clearly they didn’t read it because they would’ve noticed it wasn’t their information.” While that may be true, I found that response dismissive and concerning. The issue is not whether they read it, but that my personal information was exposed in the first place.
Elana, on the other hand, continued to exceed every expectation. She sincerely apologized for the inconvenience and surprised my daughter with chips, juice, and muffins to help make her birthday special. She personally came upstairs to ensure our room was ready and that everything was as it should be. While checking the room, she noticed the toilet was running slightly and, after first confirming that I was comfortable with it, promptly arranged for a maintenance employee to come and fix it.
The following day, she even helped my daughter make hot chocolate and asked how her birthday celebration had gone. It was a small gesture that meant a great deal and reflected genuine care for your guests.
Elana provided some of the best customer service I have experienced in a hotel. I sincerely hope she receives the recognition she deserves. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail turned what could have been a very disappointing stay into a much more positive experience.
The pool, hot tub and complementary breakfast was appreciated.
