  The room was spacious and clean, the hotel was overall very well maintained, unfortunately the breakfast did not meet our expectations.

  Positives: -Very spacious parking lot with lots of parking available -The front desk staff here are very accommodating, friendly and professional -Room was spacious (we booked the full suite) -Reception area is clean and tidy -Hotel is only maybe a 12 minute drive from downtown Halifax (it’s close to the bridge) -There is a complimentary coffee machine in the reception area which was amazing-great for grabbing your morning coffee and heading out for the day! Feedback for improvement: -We noticed after our first day that the cleaning staff only entered the room to change the garbage (i.e Bed was left unmade) We thought this was a bit odd but we asked the front desk if we could just have a full room reset daily and they were accommodating of this. -The continental breakfast was just barely edible…unfortunately just not very good.

  We really enjoyed our stay! Comfortable spacious room for our family, with lots of room to lay down our toddler’s inflatable bumper mattress on the floor. Friendly helpful staff. Fun pool, although a hot tub was missed. The elevators felt a little rough, very bumpy and one was often out of service. The beds were well worn, with a definitive slump into the middle so sleeping on the outer edges meant an eventual gravity towards the center of the bed.

  We stayed here as a couple and had a great experience. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also appreciated the free coffee available in the lobby — a really nice touch. The restaurant was excellent as well. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the servers were fantastic. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily come back.
